In one snap, Hero looks dapper in full period costume as he gets to work on his first major murder case.
Another shot shows the young detective leaning over an almost unrecognisable Colin Firth, 65, who sports a thick grey beard and moustache for his role as Sir Bucephalus Hodge.
Elsewhere, Hero’s face is splattered with blood as he sits inside a vehicle wearing an off-white textured knit.
Another still shows him creeping forward in a brown fedora and matching jacket, while a different image captures him investigating a shattered window beside Zine.
In one tense moment, Hero looks on in terror while Natascha and Dónal stand beside him as others take cover.
Director Guy Ritchie, 57, also appears in one behind-the-scenes shot perched on his director’s chair.
Set in 1870s Oxford with international adventures to follow, the prequel promises to expose the early antics of the anarchic adolescent who is yet to evolve into Baker Street’s most renowned resident.
According to The Mirror, Prime Video revealed: ‘The thrilling series, brought to life by visionary director and executive producer Guy Ritchie, charts the origin story of Sherlock Holmes in an irreverent, action-laden mystery that follows the iconic detective’s early adventures.
