Revealed: The unlawful migrants who’ve raped or abused women in Britain
Even by the desperately grim standards that are becoming all too familiar, the case of two teenage migrants jailed for raping a 15-year-old girl marks a new low in depravity.
Afghan nationals Jan Jahanzeb and Israr Niazal, both 17, carried out the sickening attack just months after arriving here in small boats.
Jahanzeb was sentenced to ten years and eight months in prison, while Niazal received a sentence of nine years and ten months.
But they are just two of many illegal migrants committing sex crimes in Britain. Here are some of the others who have been convicted.
Hadush Kebatu

Within days of arriving in Britain illegally, Hadush Kebatu tried to kiss a 14-year-old schoolgirl and then groped the woman who came to her aid.
He was eventually given a 12-month jail term in September, but not before his crimes sparked a wave of protests outside The Bell Hotel in Epping, Essex – where he had been housed when he committed the offences last July.
The 41-year-old was mistakenly freed from HMP Chelmsford in Essex just a month into his sentence and was re-arrested following a two-day manhunt.
He was subsequently deported to his native Ethiopia, but only after receiving a £500 ‘discretionary’ payment after he apparently threatened to disrupt his removal.
Amin Abedi Mofrad
Amin Abedi Mofrad (pictured) arrived in Britain by small boat in 2023 and was arrested later that year on suspicion of sexual assault, but the case was dropped due to a lack of evidence
Iranian national Amin Abedi Mofrad raped a 15-year-old after dragging her down an alleyway as she walked home from an under-18s club night in Oxford on Valentine’s Day last year.
The 35-year-old, who has previous convictions in Germany for assault and actual bodily harm, was jailed for nine-and-a-half years in November.
Sentencing him at Oxford Crown Court for the attack, Judge Maria Lamb warned that he was at ‘significant risk of committing this sort of offence again’.
Mofrad arrived in Britain by small boat in 2023 and was arrested later that year on suspicion of sexual assault, but the case was dropped due to a lack of evidence.
Rapulla Ahmadze
Rapist Rapualla Ahmadze (pictured) was found guilty at Edinburgh High Court
Afghan Rapualla Ahmadze raped a vulnerable teenager in a Scottish park.
Ahmadze, 21, was caught on CCTV prowling the streets of Elgin, in Moray, before approaching the 17-year-old as she sat on a bench in the early hours of August 4 last year.
The victim – who was struggling with mental health issues and often went for late-night walks on her own – later said Ahmadze asked if she had a boyfriend and when she replied that she did not, ‘told me that he was my boyfriend now’.
He then marched her into a nearby park and raped her. Ahmadze, who claimed the sex was consensual, is due to be sentenced.
Eid Anwar Fathi Najjar
Eid Anwar Fathi Najjar (pictured) targeted his ‘intoxicated’ victim at the Vudu Lounge in York after she became separated from her friends during a pub crawl
Failed asylum seeker Eid Anwar Fathi Najjar raped a young woman who was ‘completely out of it’ after frogmarching her out of a nightclub.
The 20-year-old targeted his ‘intoxicated’ victim at the Vudu Lounge in York after she became separated from her friends during a pub crawl.
York Magistrates’ Court heard that she was found wandering around the city centre partially clothed after being raped in an alleyway.
Najjar, who arrived in Britain by small boat three years ago and is thought to be Egyptian, was traced from CCTV footage.
Prosecutors said he was known for targeting lone women in the same bar.
He is due to be sentenced after pleading guilty to rape and sexual assault.
Sadeq Nikzad
Sadeq Nikzad’s (pictured) lawyers claimed he had not been educated about the cultural differences between the UK and his native Afghanistan
Another small boat migrant, Sadeq Nikzad, was jailed for raping a 15-year-old schoolgirl after approaching her in the Scottish town of Falkirk.
He asked for her phone number and then made sexual remarks, before leading her behind a pub and raping her.
His taxpayer-funded defence lawyers claimed the 29-year-old had not been educated about the cultural differences between the UK and his native Afghanistan.
Nikzad, 29, was jailed for nine years last summer over the October 2023 attack.
Abdelrahmen Adnan Abouelela
Abdelrahmen Adnan Abouelela (pictured), who had been living at a four-star Hilton hotel in Ealing, west London after arriving here illegally in April 2023, had sought asylum claiming he feared ‘persecution’ in his native Egypt
Abdelrahmen Adnan Abouelela is not only a rapist but also a convicted terrorist. The 42-year-old is serving an eight-and-a-half year sentence after luring a woman to a secluded spot in London’s Hyde Park and raping her in November 2024.
Abouelela, who had been living at a four-star Hilton hotel in Ealing, west London after arriving here illegally in April 2023, had sought asylum claiming he feared ‘persecution’ in his native Egypt.
But the Daily Mail revealed that the married father-of-one – reportedly a member of the Muslim Brotherhood or one of its affiliates – had previously been given a seven-year sentence in Egypt in his absence after being found guilty of involvement in a bomb-making cell.
Hassan Abou Hayleh

Married father-of-four Hassan Abou Hayleh attacked a 19-year-old woman after driving at 3am looking for vulnerable females.
The victim was waiting to be collected by her father after a night out when Hayleh stopped, sexually assaulted her and tried to drag her into his car.
Although passers-by in Weymouth, Dorset, intervened, Hayleh fled the scene.
His legal team claimed he left his native Syria in 2018 after being held in prison where he was tortured under the regime of former president Bashir Al-Assad.
Lawyers claimed that he was left with ‘severe and chronic’ post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and that jailing him ‘would amount to a violation of his human rights’.
Nevertheless, he was sentenced to two years and ten months imprisonment last August over the December 2022 attack.
Ayman Adam

Sudanese asylum seeker Ayman Adam was jailed after trying to strangle and rape a woman in the female toilets of a nightclub.
The 25-year-old followed the woman into the lavatory at Truth in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, pushed her into a cubicle and pinned her over a toilet while he attacked her.
A court hearing later heard that he was ‘grinning in a wild manner’ throughout the incident in November 2023.
Adam, who was staying in the nearby four-star Cedar Court Hotel at the time, was later jailed for seven years.
Khaliz Ali Alshimery

Asylum seeker Khaliz Ali Alshimery, whose nationality is unknown, sexually assaulted a 20-year-old student in a doorway in Oxford after following her out of the city centre.
After two members of the public intervened, the victim managed to escape – but Alshimery followed her again and, after dragging her into a churchyard, raped her.
The 47-year-old later claimed to police that the victim had asked him for £50 and that everything that happened was consensual.
He was subsequently jailed for 12 years after being found guilty of rape, sexual assault by penetration and three counts of sexual assault during the late-night November 2023 attack.
Ahmad Mulakhil
Afghan national Ahmad Mulakhil pleaded guilty last month to a single count of rape against a 12-year-old girl in Nuneaton, Warwickshire.
But 23-year-old Mulakhil continues to deny a string of further charges related to the alleged abduction and sexual assault of the victim.
Last month Mulakhil – who arrived in Britain by small boat – changed his plea to admit a single count of oral rape in July this year.
He previously entered pleas of not guilty to two further counts of rape against the same girl, as well as two counts of sexual assault and one count of abduction.
Details of the case were first revealed by The Mail on Sunday, which obtained CCTV footage appearing to show a man walking with the girl.
