Lando Norris‘s model girlfriend Magui Corceiro has opened up about her relationship with the Formula One star for the first time, admitted they’re ‘very happy’ together. 

Norris wrote his name in F1 history at the weekend as he became the first British driver since Lewis Hamilton some five years ago to win the Drivers’ Championship, before sharing a passionate kiss with Corceiro just moments afterwards. 

It was one of the first times the couple had ever packed on the PDA in front of the cameras, with the Portuguese actress, 23, breaking down in tears as she embraced her 26-year-old boyfriend on a day where his dreams came true. 

The stars’ relationship first hit the headlines back in 2023 when the Portuguese actress was spotted sitting in the passenger seat of Norris’s Fiat, but they only went official earlier this year.

And now, in an intriguing interview with TV Guia, Corceiro has given supporters an insight into her blossoming romance with the adored F1 driver. 

‘There’s no rule for going public,’ she said. ‘I thought it (the kiss in Abu Dhabi) made sense. I’m very happy, he’s very happy, and that’s what matters.

‘At that moment I forgot the cameras were there. It was such an important moment that I didn’t even remember that.’ 

Corceiro was in attendance on Sunday evening for Norris’s post-victory celebrations along with his parents Adam and Cisca, his brother Oliver and his beloved McLaren family. 

It’s understood the group partied through the night until 6am on Monday morning, with a source even telling The Sun that they racked up a bill worth some £100,000  across the hotel bars they visited. 

Norris later shared photos of his wild night out – first at the Pearls & Caviar bar in the Shangri-La Hotel, then at the Amber Lounge in the W Hotel – and reflected that ‘a lifetime of work went into this hangover’.  

A source told the outlet: ‘People in there were stunned when Lando and his entourage bowled in but they were the life and soul of the party.

‘He was up singing and his family and friends went hard – some of them didn’t finish up until 6am yesterday, including his mum and dad.

‘Lando was on Cloud Nine all night. Even his first party’s messy ending didn’t dampen his spirits.

‘It’s a night none of them will ever forget – especially for whoever ended up paying the tab – it was around £100,000 towards the end of the party.’

After Norris had recovered from his hangover, it was time once again for a romantic moment with his love interest. 

Posting a selfie of the pair on Instagram, on which she boats 2.4million followers, Corceiro wrote: ‘My little world champion.’

Corceiro, who once dated ex-Chelsea and Barcelona star Joao Felix, has been spotted at a number of the driver’s Grand Prix races in recent months. 

She hails from Santarem in Portugal and has amassed a colossal social media following including 800,000 fans on TikTok.

As an actress, she has appeared in Portuguese television dramas and is regularly featured in campaigns, including stints for Intimissimi and Alo Yoga.

Corceiro was a contestant in the country’s version of Dancing with the Stars back in 2020.

She also co-founded the eco-conscious swimwear brand Missus and has graced the pages of Vogue Portugal.

But it was on his own appearance in Vogue that Norris first gushed about Corceiro. 

‘We met a few years ago, but we were never really together,’ he said. ‘Until more recently.’

When asked what is ‘special’ about his lover, he replied: ‘Everything. She’s someone I can very much be myself with. Very down to earth and she lives quite a crazy life as well. It’s nice when we can both just [rent] a boat for the day or go home together and chill.’

‘The biggest thing I’m trying to change is to get her into golf. She hates golf.’
