Luke Littler goals dig at his pal AngryGinge after his Ally Pally no-show following his I’m a Celebrity triumph
Luke Littler aimed a dig at his friend AngryGinge after the King of the Jungle’s no-show for the darts at Alexandra Palace.
Littler got his World Championship title defence off to a flying start on Thursday night as he dispatched Darius Labanauskas 3-0.
But one notable absence from the crowd was his streamer pal AngryGinge – real name Morgan Burtwistle – who seemingly had other places to be after winning I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! He arrived back in England on Wednesday.
Some of Burtwistle’s co-stars from his streaming group Bov Boys were at Ally Pally, namely ‘Tya’s and ‘Chazza’, but there was no sign of the Salfordian who has captured the hearts of the nation.
‘Too big for the darts now I see, won the jungle have we?’ wrote Littler on his Instagram stories as he shared photos of the Bov Boys enjoying the action.
Burtwistle was in the crowd last year and appeared to be part of Littler’s entourage in the car park after his historic victory aged 18.

Littler called out Burtwistle for not joining some of his fellow streamers on Thursday night
Littler has joined Burtwistle on his football streams before and have also joined each other in videos for boohooMAN, the menswear brand that sponsors Littler.
Would ‘The Nuke’ ever follow in Burtwistle’s footsteps and go in the celebrity jungle?
‘No, I actually wouldn’t. No,’ he said recently.
‘I’d said I would for the right money, but I’ve been watching it now, and no, I just couldn’t. No way.
‘Especially with it being like…what is it? Twenty-three hours away in Australia, on a flight, away from home, eating that stuff. Nah. Not good. Not good.
‘Me watching it, I don’t think I could actually do it. No. Especially the first two trials, especially what (rapper) Aitch had to do.
‘I said to my girlfriend Faith [Millar], no, I’m not doing it ever. No way. There’s no way.’
Millar was in the crowd on Thursday and even shared a kiss with Littler as he kicked off his World Championship campaign in style.

The scoreline was convincing and Littler’s three-dart average was 101.54 but it was not an easy night.
‘It definitely wasn’t easy and I’m happy with the win,’ Littler told Sky Sports.
‘There were a few nerves but once you win a leg and win a set, it settles you down. That first set was crucial against the darts.
‘Everyone in the tournament wants to get through the first round. It’s definitely the hardest game – it doesn’t matter who you play. If you don’t play well, you’re not going to win, so I’m very happy with that.’
The pair were first pictured together in May when Littler shared a photo of them together to his 1.9million followers on Instagram. In August she joined him for the Australian Darts Masters, which he won.
