KATIE HIND: How ‘deeply disagreeable’ Amanda Abbington went NUTS after I wrote a narrative she did not like

I’ve been doing showbusiness for quite some time. And some people you meet, they’re lovely. They’re wonderful. Others really not so.

Amanda Abbington didn’t like anybody writing stories that she didn’t like. So because I dared to do that, one Sunday I got a phone call.

She was deeply unpleasant, she shouted, she threatened to get her lawyers on me. She went nuts. I had to pull over because she was shouting so much.
