Laura Woods reveals ‘terrifying’ stalker despatched letters telling her ‘tonight you die’ earlier than turning up at her residence in ‘relentless’ two-year marketing campaign of harassment

Laura Woods has spoken for the first time about her two-year stalker ordeal at the hands of obsessed football fan Harneet Kaur.

The TNT sports presenter, 38, said she was left living in ‘real fear’ during the ‘relentless’ campaign of harassment which began in June 2021 and lasted until September 2023.

Laura recalled receiving birthday cards which read: ‘Today’s the day you were born and tonight’s the night you’re going to die’ before she turned up at her home.

She explained how Kaur phoned the police and claimed to have been dragged into the star’s London property by a man with a knife.

‘In 2023, I was in Poland, covering Oleksandr Usyk’s fight with Daniel Dubois, and she emailed me while I was on air. It was a video of my front door and a message, saying: “I know you’ve got three cameras in your house”‘.

‘I started going through all the video footage to see if anyone was in there. It was terrifying. It was every possible way you could conceive that she would try to get to me’.

Kaur, a Liverpool football fan who went by the name ‘Krazy Harns’ online, also threatened to kidnap and kill Laura’s dog and arranged for a Bible and a sexual health testing kit to be sent to her house.

Laura told The Telegraph: [She sent] Dating websites, spam websites, it was relentless, I couldn’t understand how one person could do it all’.

In February last year Kaur was jailed for 14-months and given a restraining order not to contact the Laura as well as 14 other people, and from going within 500m of the presenter’s home.

Kaur, who has autism, was banned from Liverpool’s Anfield stadium for ticket touting. Her barrister claimed her autism, which led to ‘obsession and compulsion’, was behind her offending.

In court prosecutors said Laura was left in ‘real fear’ and had been forced to increase security at home and while at work.

On Thursday Laura left her fiancé Adam Collard, 30, in tears with a sweet video about their love story, after she welcomed her first child with her Love Island star partner in January.

She was reflecting on their relationship and journey after first watching him on Love Island in 2018.

The clip began with her watching the show as she penned: ‘In 2018 you’ll watch a TV show feature a very tall, very gorgeous red flag..’ – a nod to his playboy antics on the show.

The clip then went on to feature moments from their romance including with their baby Leo and of their engagement.

She added in her caption as emotional music played: ‘In five years time, it’s very important you give him a chance…’.

Adam sweetly replied saying: ‘Us 4 against the world, love you. Wow, I’m not crying you are,’ along with a laughing emoji.

The TV presenter replied: ‘I definitely am hahahaha xx’

Her post comes just a day after she returned to TV screens for the first time since her shocking collapse live on air – fronting TNT Sports’ coverage of Manchester City‘s clash with Real Madrid on Wednesday evening.

The popular presenter was hosting ITV4’s broadcast of the Lionesses’ clash against Ghana on December 2 at St Mary’s Stadium when she suddenly took ill and collapsed forward.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright and fellow pundit Anita Asante reacted swiftly to catch her before cameras cut away in a worrying ordeal that sparked concern among viewers.

Laura, who was replaced on the night by stand-in presenter Katie Shanahan, delivered a positive update after the incident – revealing she was in good health after being treated.

‘Gosh that was a bit weird. Sorry to worry everyone, I’m OK. The wonderful paramedics at Saints have said it’s probably a virus, just need a bit of rest and hydration,’ she wrote.

Adam said on X after the incident: ‘Laura is all ok and with the right people. Thank you for all of your kind messages.’
