Police confirmed a stabbing on Cecil Street in Bury led to a primary school closure this morning four people, including two teenagers, have been arrested.

- Holy Trinity Primary School in Bury was closed this morning after police established a large cordon on Cecil Street. Parents were told not to come in.
- Police responded to a stabbing reported on Tuesday evening at 9.34pm. Authorities confirmed the incident was not connected to Holy Trinity or nearby St Marie’s RC Primary School.
- The cordoned street is situated behind the Bury Market car park, near Bury College University Centre. Evidence bags were visible this morning as officers carried out overnight investigations.
- The victim of the attack is a 19-year-old man, who sustained injuries that police stated are non-life-changing or non-life-threatening.
- Four suspects are in custody on suspicion of wounding with intent, including two 23-year-old men and two 16-year-old boys.
- Police scenes remain in place on Cecil Street and in Radcliffe, where two of the suspects were arrested.
