Small airplane crashes into New Hampshire home and lands on entrance porch

A small plane crashed into a home in New Hampshire and landed on its front porch.

A Velocity V-Twin crashed in a residential area in Nashua, about 40 minutes from Concord, on Wednesday around 2.10pm, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said.

The pilot, who was the only person on board, was injured and rushed to the hospital, the Nashua Police Department told the Daily Mail.

The extent of the pilot’s injuries remain unclear, but they were conscious and talking at the scene, police said.

It is also unclear what caused the horror crash. The FAA is investigating and is set to arrive at the crash site.

A dramatic image showed the plane upside down and in pieces outside of a row of homes.

A damaged roof was also seen after the plane appeared to slam into one of the structures, police said.

The unidentified pilot was able to get out of the wrecked plane with the help of bystanders, Nashua fire officials told WMUR.

Prior to the crash, officials believe the pilot was practicing taking off and landing at an unknown airport, the outlet reported.
