Epstein warned to ‘be careful’ in picture of letter from newly-released paperwork

It is not clear who wrote the letter, nor when it was written, leaving sender’s identity a mystery as the U.S. Department of Justice releases new documents related to his case

A letter warning disgraced financier Jeffery Epstein to “watch out” is among the documents included in the recently released files related to his case.

The U.S. Department of Justice on Friday, December 19, released a trove of documents as part of the Epstein Files Transparency Act. This federal legislation mandates the justice department to publish all remaining documentation as part of a drive towards openness.

Materials obtained from search warrants, FBI affidavits supporting the warrants, financial records and travel records among other things are included in the released files.

A photograph of a letter cautioning Epstein is also included. It is not clear who wrote the letter nor when it was written, leaving sender’s identity a mystery.

A photograph of the handwritten letter reads: “A lot of these girls who you dealt with is or was runaways in the first place. Am pulling for you now and in the future to take care of self your health and watch out for people coming at you.”

The letter signs off with: “I will be pulling for you Mr. Epstein! I’m really am!!”

Also included in the file release are thousands of images, videos and documents. Several famous people are pictured with Epstein. The images and documents have been shared without context and it not is it clear when they were taken. Being photographed or mentioned in the files does not indicate any wrongdoing.

The justice department said more than 1,200 people were eventually identified as victims of Epstein or their family members.
