Girl, 16, dies after London tube station incident as tribute paid to ‘beautiful’ daughter
A 16-year-old girl has tragically died after an incident at a London tube station as her family have now paid tribute to their daughter.
Daisy House sadly died on Monday (December 15) after officers were called to Loughton Underground station just after 2.30pm.
British Transport Police were responding following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics were also in attendance but despite their best efforts, Daisy sadly passed away later at hospital.
Now her family have published a statement via the British Transport Police about their daughter, who had recently started Sixth Form. They described her as “a bright, beautiful, clever, and funny girl”.
The family also added their thanks to the emergency services and doctors who tried to save her.
They mentioned in particular the “kindness” shown by officers from the British Transport Police and paediatric nurses.

Floral tributes have been left Daisy as the family have thanked people for their kind messages.
Daisy’s family released the photo used in this article and have now asked for their privacy to be respected.
The family said: “On Monday, our beautiful daughter Daisy lost her life. She was a bright, beautiful, clever, and funny girl who had just started Sixth Form and had her whole future ahead of her.
“We would like to thank all of the emergency services and doctors who worked so hard to save her, especially the British Transport Police officer and paediatric nurses who treated us all with such kindness.
“We thank everyone who has sent best wishes, kind messages, and floral tributes.
“We would now ask for our privacy to be respected while we come to terms with the loss of our Daisy and what life will be like without our daughter.”
