Andrew Tate suffers blistering debut loss to actuality star Chase DeMoor

Andrew Tate was left bloodied, bruised, and humiliated after a savage loss in his much-hyped return to the ring in Dubai.

The 39-year-old self-styled “misogynist” was battered by US reality TV bruiser Chase DeMoor at Misfits Mania, limping back into combat after a five-year absence — and looking every bit the rusted comeback kid.

Tate had boasted there were “levels” to fighting and had vowed to put DeMoor to sleep in the ring. Instead, it was Tate who ran out of fuel early, struggling to keep pace with an opponent fighting his seventh bout of the year.

Though Tate briefly landed a solid right hand in the opening round, DeMoor barely flinched. He stayed patient, stalked his man, and once Tate’s tank emptied, the punishment began. Over six punishing rounds, DeMoor unloaded relentless barrages, rocking Tate again and again as the former kickboxer wilted under the pressure. By the final bell, blood streamed from cuts around Tate’s eyes — a brutal visual of a comeback gone wrong.

The judges sealed Tate’s misery with scorecards of 57-57, 58-56 and 58-56, handing DeMoor a clear win and allowing him to retain his Misfits heavyweight title. Tate looked deflated in the aftermath, his swagger replaced by a thousand-yard stare as millions watching around the world saw his bid for redemption collapse in real time.

Fight fans weren’t impressed either, and the experts out there seemed underwhelmed by both Tate DeMoor’s performances.

Former UFC champion Michael Bisping didn’t hold back, posting on X: “God, they both suck,” before doubling down with: “This is hilariously bad.”

Japanese MMA star Kazuo ‘Grabaka Hitman’ Misaki piled on, saying the bout “genuinely looks like a fight from rough ‘n’ rowdy”.

Northern Irish MMA pro Leah McCourt delivered her own savage verdict: “This fight is going exactly like I knew… Not a great fight.”

As for whether Tate will roll the dice again, even he sounded unsure. “Ten years out, 40 years old. I gave it my all, but he’s tough,” Tate said, admitting he’ll need to watch the tape before deciding if he’ll take another run at a return to the ring.

The self-described misogynist signed off with a final line that summed up the night: “It’s better to try and lose than not try at all.” For Tate, though, this was one loss the internet won’t forget anytime soon.
