BREAKING Toddler, 2, killed and 5 significantly injured in horror crash on main A-road

A two-year-old boy has died in a horror crash just days before Christmas that left five others seriously injured, police have said.

The tragic toddler was in a Toyota Auris that had broken down on the A1 in Cambridgeshire on Saturday.

The Toyota was sitting in a live lane on the northbound carriageway when it was hit by a Volkswagen Touran at around 6.20pm, just past Stibbington Junction.

Five other people from London who were in the Toyota were taken to Peterborough City Hospital with serious injuries after the crash.
