Kelvin Fletcher‘s wife admitted that she’s not his ‘dream woman’ as she got real about married life on Sunday’s episode of Fletchers’ Family Farm.
The former Emmerdale star, 41, and wife Liz Marsland, 40, landed their very own ITV programme back in 2021.
The pair and kids daughter Marnie, son Milo and twins Mateusz and Maximus, let cameras into their lives on their 120-acre farm in Wincle, a village in Cheshire.
Sunday’s Christmas special saw the family head to Austria and they stayed with the Achrainer family, and matriarch Martina gave Liz a baking lesson.
Martina showed her how to make traditional Austrian fried dough pastries called Bauernkrapfen.
After making the tasty treats, Liz said to camera: ‘That was so fascinating and it’s so good to see that they have this real farmer’s wife tradition. And they keep this tradition and they cook to celebrate…

‘And actually, that’s probably Kelvin’s dream woman.’
As she giggled to herself, she added: ‘A farmer’s wife… and he got me, and I can’t cook.’
Kelvin and Liz, who have known each other since they were young, started dating in 2009.
The pair got engaged in 2014 and tied the knot the following year.
They bought their farm back in 2021 after originally planning to move to California, but Covid stopped them from doing so.
And the couple have documented how it’s been on their shows Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure and Fletchers’ Family Farm.
Previously speaking on BBC Breakfast about their move, Kelvin said: ‘I think for me, I personally don’t want to seek any sort of validation elsewhere.
‘I know how valued we are as a family and what we do in our small family farm, and I share that with every other family farm.

‘You take great pride in producing food and having a real acknowledgement towards nature, towards the habitat.
‘You’re a custodian of the land, and it’s a privilege.’
He also told Country and Town House last year: ‘I think that’s what has been amazing about filming an observational documentary.
‘There were a lot of considerations initially: as actors, to invite a film crew into your personal space, in a situation that you’re still figuring out yourself.
‘There were some serious considerations there.
‘But we did it as honestly as we could, and what we got out of it was, first and foremost, an amazing TV show.
‘The audience reception we’ve had has been absolutely incredible, and it has resonated with so many people.
‘But we can also look back and think, ‘we’ve captured that moment’.
‘We’ve really got that documented and in such a beautiful way that we will have forever. And the fact that people have enjoyed watching it is just the biggest of bonuses.’
Back in April Kevin shared a heartbreaking loss live on Lorraine after a ‘traumatic experience’ with his wife Liz at their family farm.
The pair revealed they had already jumped into lambing season unexpectedly after a young male sheep got through the fence and to the females ‘a little early’.
However, the couple shared how they devastatingly lost one of the babies in the difficult birth.
Fletchers’ Family Farm airs on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
