Frantic mom jumps off dock to rescue four-year-old lady who was trapped between CRUISE SHIP and pier within the Bahamas

A brave mom leapt into the ocean to save her four-year-old daughter after the youngster slipped and got trapped between a cruise ship and pier. 

Heart-stopping video showed the moment crew members rushed to help the unidentified pair, throwing life preservers into the water at the company’s premium Bahamas getaway, Carnival’s Celebration Key. 

A security guard is seen keeping onlookers back as the crew lowered a ladder in the water between the massive Carnival Sunrise ship and slippery dock.

‘We got officers coming off the boat now,’ the creator is heard saying while recording the fiasco that happened on December 21.

The video pans to the crew members, dressed in beige and blue, grappling with the life preservers as they pull the girl to safety. 

As the four-year-old was cradled in the arms of a nearby woman, rescuers and witnesses erupted in joyous screams and applause. 

Shortly after, the team pulled out the courageous mother in the pink bathing suit, and the crowd applauded again.

Towels were draped over her back as the rescue team surrounded her during the reunion with her family. 

Overwhelmed with relief and emotion, the woman began to sob as she realized she and her daughter were safe.

In a statement to Daily Mail, the Carnival Cruise Line said, ‘A 4‑year‑old girl briefly walked away from her mother and fell into the water. 

‘Her mother immediately jumped in after her. Our ship and security team quickly brought them both to safety, and our medical team evaluated them. Both are doing well.’

The user who posted the emotional video explained that she started recording after hearing screams outside while sitting in her room on the Carnival Conquest. 

‘Apparently people fell between the dock and the Carnival Sunrise,’ she wrote in the caption.

‘They were pulled to safety! A mama jumped in after her baby, brave woman! Very scary situation but they were rescued quickly!’

The family even reached out to the creator, adding in the comments, ‘I just received a message from the mother, the woman that jumped in after her child.

A whole crowd gathered to witness the debacle, and erupted into applause and cheer once they were saved

‘She said they’re fine, traumatized, but fine. I’m so glad this all turned out ok and everyone was brought to safety. She was a brave woman, but any mother would do the same!’

Another user, seemingly the heroic mother, commented, ‘Thank you, everyone, for your prayers and words of encouragement.

‘My kids and I have a long road ahead of us to heal from this traumatic situation.’
