Anna Woolhouse’s life in pics as Sky Sports darts host’s swimsuit snaps drop jaws
Sky Sports presenter Anna Woolhouse has become hugely popular through her work at the PDC World Darts Championship and her boxing coverage alongside stunning social media posts
Anna Woolhouse has fronted much of Sky Sports’ coverage of the exciting action on the oche at the PDC World Darts Championship.
The 41-year-old has become a familiar face during the tournament at Alexandra Palace and oversaw the last afternoon session of the year on Tuesday. She watched on as Krzysztof Ratajski and Jonny Clayton progressed before new crowd favourite Justin Hood upset Josh Rock in the final match.
Anna has worked for Sky Sports since 2012. While she has become popular for her work within darts, the presenter has also hosted some of the biggest boxing events of recent years.
During last year’s World Darts Championship, she took a short break from the darts and headed out to Saudi Arabia for the heavyweight rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. Anna has also hosted Netball, Ice Hockey and F1 shows during her time at Sky Sports.
Born in Market Deeping in Lincolnshire, she graduated from the University of Leeds with a BA (Hons) degree in music before earning a postgraduate degree in broadcast journalism. This allowed her to pursue a media career, starting in radio before joining Sky.
On social media, Anna has recently shared pictures from her work at Ally Pally. Her outfits have been well-received by fans, who have complimented the presenter on her appearance.
After posting her outfit from Tuesday’s session, one fan wrote: “You look amazing, great addition to the darts.” Another said: “Stunning as ever.” A third added: “You look gorgeous, Anna. Brilliant job as usual.”
When she is not working at sports events, Anna enjoys keeping fit and regularly shares workout snaps on social media. In September, she described the experience of completing her first triathlon.
The presenter posted: “Sooooo I’m officially on the Triathlon Train. This weekend I completed my first Triathlon and I absolutely LOVED it!
“From the freezing cold swim, to what felt like endless hills (legs feel like bricks now) it was brilliant. Wasn’t a perfect race by any chalk, it was never going to be which is absolutely ok and all part of the learning curve. Definitely got the Tri bug…The question is, what should I do next?!”
Despite pursuing a successful TV career and maintaining her physical fitness, Anna allows herself a break. This summer, the darts host wowed fans with a picture of her sunbathing in a pink swimsuit.
She captioned the post: “Definitely not lying/melting here having major Glasto FOMO.”
One fan replied: “Wow, wow, I’m speechless.” A second wrote: “Stunningly beautiful.” A third penned: “Goddess Anna … and a pretty good presenter too.” A fourth added: “Looking fab, Anna.”
On Christmas Eve, Anna showed her festive side as she posed wearing a red Christmas jumper, skirt and black boots.
She received many well-wishes from her followers as the tournament took a short break over the festive period.
However, the presenter previously explained why December is always a difficult time for her and her family. She recently paid tribute to her older brother Harry Woolhouse, who tragically passed away in a Malaysian bus crash 11 years ago.
Earlier this month, she posted on Instagram: “Happy Heavenly Birthday Harry. Today would have been your 44th Birthday, loved and missed every day.
“I’ll be smiling for you today, you’d have loved the Ally Pally madness. Sending love to anyone missing loved ones right now, it’s not easy but you’re not alone x”.
