Chelsea icon Dan Petrescu has cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy.

The 57-year-old won four trophies in five very successful years with the Blues.

Four months ago, Petrescu quit as coach of home-country club CFR Cluj.

The former full back has kept a low profile since local media in Romania published pictures and videos of Petrescu looking frail as he walked in a park.
