PDC’s walk-on ladies and the place they’re now after axe – lingerie mannequin to WAGS

It’s been several years since we encountered the enchanting walk-on girls on the oche.

The darts has always been an entertaining watch with chants, pints and banter galore over the years. The models who were part of the sport for a number of years saw their jobs axed seven years ago due to claims of sexism.

This decision sparked immediate backlash from fans and players. A petition was created to bring back the axed models, with the likes of Raymond van Barneveld signing in support.

These efforts were fruitless, however, as the walk-on girls failed to return on a permanent basis. Two of the most famous faces did make a comeback when Phil Taylor played at the World Seniors Matchplay in October 2024.

Charlotte Wood and Daniella Allfree represented the former models at the darts last year and signed on as long-term ambassadors for the World Seniors Darts Tour. The PDC hasn’t brought the walk-on girls back to official events, though.

Here, Daily Star Sport has taken a look at what some of the most popular walk-on girls have been up to in recent years since their axe in 2018.
