Justin Theroux’s pregnant spouse Nicole Brydon Bloom exhibits off child bump at Critics Choice Awards 2026

Nicole Brydon Bloom showed off her baby bump while walking the red carpet at the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday evening.

The 31-year-old pregnant actress, who is expecting her first baby with Justin Theroux, 54, modeled an iridescent, sequined Akris slip dress that highlighted her bump.

She walked the red carpet solo and cradled her baby bump shortly after she and the the Mulholland Drive star celebrated the winter holiday season as newlyweds as well as expecting parents.

She paired her light-reflective champagne-gold dress with dazzling diamond jewels.

She left her long brunette tresses down in a straight hairstyle with one side tucked behind her ear to showcase the dangling diamond earrings she was wearing for the special occasion.

The Paradise star was joining the parade of glitz and glamour as one of the best-dressed stars at the annual ceremony to kick off the awards season this year.

She also wore her flashy wedding ring on her left hand and an oversize, statement ring on her right hand.

She wore light, bronze makeup with gold highlighter and nude pink lip to accentuate her natural beauty.

Her red carpet appearance at the annual awards ceremony comes just weeks after she teased her baby bump while accompanying Theroux at the Song Sung Blue premiere in mid-December.

At the time, she only showed a hint of her growing belly in a burgundy red, silk outfit featuring a crop top and trench coat that just barely revealed her midriff.

She and Theroux had their arms wrapped tightly around each other and flashed bright smiles.

Just days earlier that same month, it was revealed that the pair were expecting their first child together, just nine months after tying the knot.

They were initially romantically linked in February 2023 at a Netflix event before later going on to get engaged in August 2024 and tying the knot in March 2025.

On Sunday, she joined the star parade at the Critics Choice Awards to support her castmates in support of her show Paradise, which is nominated for Best Drama Series.

Her costar Sterling K. Brown is also nominated for an award in the Best Actor in the Drama Series category.

Early last month, the cast also celebrated Brown being honored with the Actor Award at the Critics Choice Association Celebration of Black Cinema & Television.

At Sunday’s award show, Bloom is also not the only Paradise star who is pregnant.

Her costar Krys Marshall also debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the annual ceremony on Sunday.

For the 31st annual award ceremony in Santa Monica, Chelsea Handler returned as host for the fourth consecutive year at the Barker Hangar.

Long considered one of the most accurate crystal balls in Hollywood, the Critics Choice Awards have a strong track record of forecasting Oscar glory.

That predictive power was on full display last season, when Anora used its Critics Choice Best Picture win to reassert itself after being shut out at the Golden Globe and SAG Awards, momentum it ultimately carried all the way to the Academy Awards

Three acting winners — Adrien Brody, Kieran Culkin and Zoe Saldaña — also repeated their Critics Choice victories at the Oscars.

With the Golden Globe Awards not airing until January 11 this year, the Critics Choice Awards step into the spotlight as the first major televised ceremony of 2026, giving studios and contenders a crucial early boost.

Critics Choice Association CEO Joey Berlin called the awards ‘a celebration of the very best in film and television,’ adding that the group’s voters help guide audiences toward standout storytelling each year.

Leading the pack this year is Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, which scored a jaw-dropping 17 nominations across film and television categories – just one shy of Barbie’s record-breaking 18 nods in 2024.

Close behind are One Battle After Another with 14 nominations, and Hamnet and Frankenstein, which each earned 11.

Other major contenders include Marty Supreme, Wicked: For Good, Sentimental Value, Train Dreams, Jay Kelly and Bugonia.
