Jeremy Clarkson’s right-hand man Kaleb Cooper reveals why he is bought true grit amid -12C large freeze

Jeremy Clarkson’s sidekick Kaleb Cooper showed he’s not too proud to turn down work from his local council when he braved the arctic blast causing chaos across the UK to grit rural roads

Jeremy Clarkson’s sidekick Kaleb Cooper is showing of his grit by blasting frozen roads with crushed salt amid Britain’s big freeze. The no-nonsense farmer, 27, is now a millionaire since shooting to fame on Clarkson’s Farm.

But he showed he’s not too proud to turn down work from his local council in the Cotswolds when he braved the arctic blast causing chaos across the UK to grit rural roads.

He shared a snap of his truck and gritter unit and told fans: “Back out and about keeping people safe.”

Kaleb also posted a video on his Instagram of him doing a late-night stint in the dark to keep the street outside Jezza’s farm shop sprayed with salt.

It comes as Britain was slapped with more danger to life and “stay indoors” warnings.

Yellow and amber weather warnings covered swathes of nation yesterday (TUES) after -12C wind blasts, along with ice, rain and snow wreaked havoc on the country’s roads.

The alerts were first issued over the weekend, and experts say the Baltic weather will hit the nation for the rest of the week

Met Office officials are warning motorists it isn’t safe to drive and to only make essential journeys.

The UK Health Security Agency has issued amber cold weather health alerts for all regions of England until Friday.

Lightning and gales were also expected to cause hazards along our coastlines.

Adam Stachura, policy director at Age Scotland, is among the experts urging Brits to stay at home unless it is totally necessary to venture outside.

He warmed: “With such cold temperatures and icy conditions ahead, try and make sure you have enough food and any important medications at home to reduce the need for unnecessary and potentially risky trips.”

Kaleb has shown his grit before – by going up against US vice-president JD Vance last year.

He and Jezza were left raging the MAGA right-winger made a nuisance of himself while filming of the new series of Clarkson’s Farm was underway.

Swarms of secret service agents and a no-fly zone to block drones around a Cotswolds manor house Vance was renting last summer.

It meant Amazon Prime cameramen couldn’t work.

Kaleb also moaned Dunce’s security detail had derailed his farming duties.

He raged online about being blocked by the Yank’s team of SUV-driving heavies: “My wheat got wet in the trailer last night as the convo stopped me in the rain in Chippy.

“I could easily have went on my way and got it in the shed without getting in the way. If he had just drove around in a VW Polo nobody would know who he was.”

Dunce’s sprawling holiday home of Dean Manor was located in a tiny hamlet of just 12 houses in Oxfordshire.

It’s thought the VP hired it for £8,000-a-week.

Dunce chose Britain for a break despite recently slamming the UK as “some random country that hasn’t fought a war in 30 or 40 years”.
