Moment celebration balloons explode into large fireball in birthday woman’s face
This is the shocking moment cake sparklers caused balloons to explode into a fireball in a birthday girl’s face.
Nozza Usmanova was surprised by friends with a delivery of hydrogen-filled inflatables and a cake when the candle touched one of them causing a huge blast.
CCTV footage shows the delighted celebrant waiting by the entrance of a shop in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, to receive her gifts moments before the decorations ignited.
Seconds after she greeted her relatives, a woman handed over a cake with cold-fire candles that Nozza quickly blew out.
But the hot tips still caused the balloons to ignite.
Nozza said: ‘It happened so fast. I am unsure how I was able to escape that.’
As the large flames engulfed nearly the doorway, the birthday girl and her guests rushed out of the building.
However, the fire lasted only a split second, and nobody was hurt.
They checked on all attendees, including a mother and her baby who were standing nearby.
Nozza added: ‘It’s a relief that nobody was hurt and there was no damage done.’

Hydrogen is a highly flammable gas often used in balloons for parties because it makes them float.
However, it can ignite easily if it comes into contact with sparks, flames, or candles, making them a potential fire hazard.
It comes after in 2018 a birthday girl was set on fire by hydrogen balloons at her party and suffers horrific burns.
Startling footage emerged of the balloons exploding, engulfing the girl and her friends in flames as she lights the candles on her birthday cake.
The incident took place in India and the video was circulated on social media.
The footage was originally published on Facebook by the birthday girl’s friend – who filmed the nightmarish episode on his mobile phone.
Photos revealed the girl – who is believed to be a teenager – suffered horrific burns across her arms after the fire.
Many countries have banned the use of hydrogen in balloons, the UK outlawed it in 1914, because the gas is so flammable.
The clip begins showing the birthday girl lighting a candle on her cake at her party – while a group of friends crowd around the table and snap photos on their phone.
The girl – who is wearing a pale blue dress and has a distinctive tattoo on the inside of her left arm – is surrounded by dozens of pink and black hydrogen balloons as she lights her cake with a match.
However as she lights her cake, the candle bursts into flames and and the hydrogen-filled balloons around her explode.
Screams can be heard as a huge fireball fills the room and the birthday girl is engulfed by the flames.
