Eagles star Cooper DeJean’s brother is arrested on drunk-driving cost hours earlier than pivotal NFL playoff recreation
The younger brother of Eagles All-Pro cornerback Cooper DeJean has been arrested on drunk-driving allegations in the family’s native Iowa just hours before Philadelphia’s playoff game against the visiting San Francisco 49ers.
Beckett DeJean, a defense back at South Dakota, was charged with ‘OWI (operating while intoxicated) – first offense’ at around 1am in Odebolt, Iowa, according to Sheriff’s Office records.
The younger brother of Cooper has yet to play in a game for South Dakota. He is listed as a redshirt freshman on the school’s website.
Cooper and Beckett have another brother, Jaxx DeJean, a wide receiver who followed the oldest sibling and committed to for Iowa, where he will begin as a freshman in the fall of 2027.
