Julia Roberts teased Emma Stone at Sunday night’s Golden Globes as she received a standing ovation from the crowd and joked she’s ‘going to be impossible for at least a week’
Julia, 58, didn’t win her category, but she still owned the room by getting lots of attention from the adoring crowd.
She was nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in After the Hunt on Sunday, but lost out to Hamnet star Jessie Buckley.
While presenting the award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Julia took to the stage and got her a standing ovation.
‘Thank you,’ she said – then pushed. ‘Everybody! Let’s go! In the back!’
She later joked, ‘I’m gonna be impossible for at least a week,’ before adding, ‘What a great night. What a beautiful night to be an artist.’

Julia then gave the award to Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another.
Her longtime friend George Clooney presented the final award of the evening — Best Motion Picture – Drama — and Don Cheadle gave him a little banter about his own lack of a standing ovation.
Another sweet moment saw Jessie fangirling over Julia after winning her award.
She said: ‘Oh my God, the incredible women I am honored to stand beside in this category. I mean, Julia Roberts – you are like a hero to us all.’

Before Award season it was 51-year-old DiCaprio who was the odds favorite to take home the coveted gong, but now Chalamet is a massive favorite to win the top acting prize at March’s Academy Awards according to regulated exchange and prediction market Kalshi.
However, DiCaprio’s flick One Battle After Another (directed by Paul Thomas Anderson) did earn the last laugh at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday night as the film not only triumphed over Chalamet’s project but also beat out Blue Moon, Bugonia, No Other Choice and Nouvelle Vague for Best Picture – Comedy Or Musical.
One Battle After Another was the most awarded film of the night with four wins but will no doubt face stiff competition in the Oscars race from Hamnet (directed by Chloe Zhao) as it earned the last award of the night in the Best Picture – Drama category over Frankenstein, It Was Just An Accident, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value and Sinners.
On the television side, it was The Pitt (created by R Scott Gemmill), The Studio (created by Evan Goldberg, Alex Gregory, and Peter Huyck), and Adolescence (created by Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne) which earned wins in the drama, comedy or musical, and limited series categories, respectively.
Meanwhile, 30-year-old Chalamet surely had tongues wagging as he barely acknowledged girlfriend Kylie Jenner during his acceptance speech for Marty Supreme.
