NFL sideline reporter Erin Andrews steals the present with daring playoff outfit: ‘She seems to be like an emu’
While Erin Andrews’ primary concern for Sunday’s NFL playoff outfit choice was likely staying warm in the Philadelphia weather, she inadvertently got more than she bargained for.
The Fox Sports sideline reporter, 47, quickly went viral within minutes of appearing on screen as she showed off a very bold coat that got social media talking.
Ensuring she was protected from the brutal winds inside Lincoln Financial Field, Andrews was wrapped tight in a huge fur coat, which many likened to Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians.
Another X user joked that she had ‘killed a flock of emus’, while another claimed that she looked like the emu itself with her head poking out the top of the coat.
While she was the subject of some jokes, she did receive a positive reception from many, with one fan writing: ‘Erin Andrews is wearing THE HELL outta that coat.’
Another added: ‘I’d f***ing kill for that coat. I can’t focus on what Erin Andrews is saying because I’m mesmerized by her coat.’

On multiple occasions, the coat was mentioned on the broadcast, with both the in-studio team and broadcast booth commenting on it and requesting further information.
Both times, Andrews brushed off the questions and ploughed on with her analysis and interviews, continuing to demonstrate herself as one of the best in the business.
Before the game, she was front and center once again as she interviewed 49ers superstar Christian McCaffrey.
During the game, she then provided updates on various players’ health status, especially in the wake of George Kittle suffering a heartbreaking Achilles tear.

The 49ers icon – a key part of both the run and passing game – was carted off in the first half and it was soon confirmed that he had torn his Achilles.
The injury will end his season and likely hamper the start of the next campaign too, a worrying sign for a 32-year-old player.
The Eagles led the Wild Card game 13-10 at halftime, with the Niners desperately battling to save their season in the face of an injury nightmare.
If the Eagles win on home turf on Sunday night, they will move on to face the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field next weekend.
