UK ‘should plan for monetary disaster and widespread riots’ sparked by ‘alien invasion’

Helen McCaw, who worked as a senior analyst at the Bank of England, believes that it would only take a few hours for the country’s economy to crash if aliens were confirmed as real

Brits could be blasted by a financial meltdown if it turns out that we’re not alone in the universe and aliens do exist, according to a former bank expert.

Helen McCaw, who spent 10 years working as a senior analyst in financial security at the Bank of England, said that the UK’s central bank should be ready for chaos if the existence of alien life is ever officially confirmed.

She wanred: “The United States government appears to be partway through a multi-year process to declassify and disclose information on the existence of a technologically advanced non-human intelligence responsible for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAPs)”

She said the revelation of aliens would force the world to face up to “the existence of a power or intelligence greater than any government and with potentially unknown intentions.”

Worryingly, it would only take a “matter of hours” for the whole financial system to spiral out of control if there was “undisputable evidence” of little green men really existing.

McCaw has even written to Bank of England governor Andrew Bailey, urging him to start planning how to deal with the fallout. She went on to paint a bleak picture of how things might unfold if the banks start to fail and payment systems collapse.

The Cambridge graduate added: “You’ll have rioting because people can’t fill their cars up with fuel or buy food. Even if you feel it’s very unlikely, it’s madness not to consider it and plan.”

Her interest in UAPs only became apparent after she stumbled upon a Nasa paper in 2021 called ‘Unidentified Flying Objects in Classical Antiquity’ by astronomer and planetary scientist Dr Richard Stothers.

She said: “I thought it was a Hollywood thing and that it was only backwards people that saw them,” and added that she had “no idea” that governments were studying them.

McCaw admitted that her bold claims are raising eyebrows. “A lot of friends think it’s absolutely crazy,” she said.

After sending some of her research to a former colleague at the Bank of England, she said that he believed her, but that hoped he “wouldn’t have to live in a world where this comes out.”

Meanwhile, last year a number of Secret CIA documents sensationally claimed that aliens could be operating hidden bases right here on Earth, including deep under the sea and inside remote mountain ranges.

The files were declassified through the US Freedom of Information Act and among the supposed locations are Mount Hayes in Alaska, Mount Perdido in Spain and various underwater sites off the coast of Puerto Rico and near the Bahamas.

The documents don’t provide photographic evidence or confirm the authenticity of these claims, but they do suggest that US intelligence services have been aware of these mysterious locations and may have been monitoring them for years.
