ESPN ‘know what they’re doing’ as cameras preserve reducing to grownup star Abella Danger
ESPN camera operators made no secret they were aware of Miami Hurricanes superfan and adult star Abella Danger taking in the College Football action
ESPN camera operators sure were excited to spot Miami Hurricanes superfan Abella Danger in the crowd, but the adult star was left in tears taking in the action.
Danger, whose real name is Amirah Day, was spotted in the crowd cheering on her beloved Hurricanes in the College Football Playoff final. However, her time in front of the lens ended in heartbreak as the Indiana Hoosiers ran out 27-21 victors in Miami.
Abella, 30, is now a full-time student at Miami after quitting her life in the adult industry and has regularly been spotted cheering the Hurricanes on, including appearing on the live broadcast of their playoff win over Texas A&M last month.
And she clearly is a favourite of the camera as her exasperated look in the crowd at the Hard Rock Stadium was picked out during a crucial play of the game, with Miami trailing 24-14 in the final seven minutes of the match.
The Hurricanes were able to get themselves back in the game by scoring another touchdown, but their spirit was broken by a Hoosiers field goal that left them trailing by six points as the clock ticked down to crown them national champions.
Fans couldn’t help but react to Abella’s cameo on the broadcast, as one user wrote on X: “ESPN knows what it’s doing showing that close up of Abella Danger.”
A second quipped: “ESPN is so unapologetically horny. Panning the camera to Abella Danger at a crucial part of the game is crazy.”
The defeat was hard for Abella to swallow as she broke down in tears on her Instagram following the defeat. Throughout the match, she had been recording her reactions to her school’s performance and wrote an emotional paragraph at the end of the game.
“I was born and raised in miami, I went to south Miami middle school 5 minutes from UM where we all wore orange and green just like UM,” she proudly wrote.
“I have dreamt of being a hurricane since I was 10 years old, my love for the Canes is UNCONDITIONAL, I am and will always be a Hurricane and we WILL be back with a vengeance.
“Tomorrow I’m going to class with my head held so high because we made it to the natty and 99% of schools did not.”
It showed just how tough it was for Abella to take, as she then posted a meme of SpongeBob SquarePants returning home with a Hurricanes hat on attempting not to cry.
