Luke Littler’s girlfriend Faith Millar’s four-word vow to darts star on his nineteenth birthday

Luke Littler’s girlfriend Faith Millar posted a gushing message on Instagram as the back-to-back darts world champion celebrates his 19th birthday.
It’s impossible to comprehend the success that Littler has had so far in his career, and the fact that today (January 21) marks another year of him being a teenager. The world No.1 has raked in almost £3million in prize money since his breakout Ally Pally run 25 months ago, and recently signed a money-spinning £20m, 10-year contract with Target.
‘The Nuke’ added to his trophy cabinet on Tuesday as he lifted the Saudi Darts Masters to pocket £30,000 – healthy spending money for anyone’s birthday.
On his special day, Littler’s girlfriend Faith paid a touching tribute to him, posting a cute selfie of the two in a car on her Instagram story, with the words: “happy birthday my love (heart emoji) I love you always x”.
Littler shared the picture to his own story as the two look to celebrate both his success in the Gulf state and his birthday.
The back-to-back world champ beat Michael van Gerwen 8-5 in yesterday’s final after he took revenge on Gerwyn Price in the semi-final, after the Welshman knocked him out of the Bahrain Darts Masters, and got one over Gian van Veen again in the quarter-final.
“Obviously last week it didn’t work out in Bahrain but really glad to come over to Saudi Arabia for the first time and be the first winner,” Littler told ITV4.
“Michael got back into it so I had to find my form again but I’m just really glad to win. As players coming over here, we didn’t know what to expect but there’s been a brilliant turnout.”
Despite his triumph, Littler admitted he was “gutted” that there wasn’t a nine-darter throughout the entire tournament.
As is Matchroom’s ongoing need to bow down to Saudi and allow the money to turn sport into a circus. A £75k bonus was on offer to any player who managed a nine-dart leg. An extra £75k would then be up for grabs by the Saudi organisers if they hit the bullseye with a special tenth dart.
“Obviously it’s on everyone’s minds,” Littler said about the incentive. “All the players know what’s up for grabs so if you get the first treble and then miss, you are gutted. But hopefully we can come back next year and someone can hit a nine-darter.”
Littler also discussed his plans to celebrate with Faith and his family in Dubai for his birthday, coinciding with his Saudi triumph.
He added: “Obviously, I’m celebrating my birthday tomorrow. I’m going over to Dubai with my family and girlfriend to have three days off.”
