Teen killers’ sickening boasts they’re ‘again collectively’ in younger offenders jail after stabbing greatest mates to demise
A pair of teen killers make sickening boasts they were ‘back together’ in a young offenders’ institute after stabbing two childhood best friends to death.
Riley Tolliver, 19, and Kodi Wescott, 18, and three others were found guilty of murdering Max Dixon, 15 and Mason Rist, 16, in Bristol in January 2024.
After being detained for a minimum of 23 years, Tolliver and Wescott were inadvertently placed in the same young offenders’ institute by prison authorities.
Pictures were posted on Snapchat of the pair gloating – prompting complaints from Mason’s family who said they were ‘appalled’ to see they had been reunited.
The image was captioned with a tagline ‘man dem together 3 ygb 3 young tuggz’, an apparent reference to Wescott’s rap moniker.
Last year, it emerged Wescott was able to make drill music rap videos from his cell about the murders he committed, and post them on Instagram.
That prompted outrage from the families of his victims, made worse because the double killer then mocked authorities by setting up a second Instagram account after prison chiefs shut down his first.
Now, a year on, Mason’s mum Nikki and sister Chloe have complained to the authorities again, after the New Year post on Snapchat reached them on social media.
The photo, of Riley Tolliver and Kodi Wescott, was posted on Snapchat over the New Year, and prompted a complaint from Mason’s family

Chloe said: ‘They have all been active on social media, saying the gang’s back together, and so on.
‘You would think the prison would know better than to put them together – it’s crazy.’
Mason’s family complained to the prison chiefs and were told that, following the report of the social media posts, the pair were split up again.
‘We can confirm that none of the co-defendants are currently in the same establishment,’ the family were told by prison liaison officers.
‘Following the reported social media posts, action was taken to move some of the offenders,’ they added.
‘It is not always possible to keep co-defendants in separate establishments; however, where there is an assessed risk, steps can be taken to ensure prisoners are separated’.
They added that the matter had ‘been escalated’ and the information ‘has been shared with the relevant establishment for appropriate action’.

Mason’s mum Nikki said she had seen other images of Wescott, who was the only one of four teenagers who stabbed both Max and Mason in the attack outside Mason’s house almost two years ago, posted onto his Instagram account, and was furious this was still being allowed.
‘I’ve just found out Kodi Westcott has been on his phone again in prison. It should have been taken off him,’ she said. ‘He has posted a picture on his Instagram and Snapchat account. The probation service said it had come from within the prison.
‘He is not monitored with his visits. How can he have a phone during a visit to take a picture of him with his girlfriend and post it on Snapchat?
‘We had this before with him. All we are told is that it will be a black mark against him when he is up for release in 20 years. It is disgusting,’ she added.
‘That picture would not have been in a cell as relatives don’t visit there. Why is he getting away with all of this? Why isn’t he being monitored? He just doesn’t care. They may talk about his human rights, but what about my human rights?’
‘They are not even aware of it until we report it. It is the second time it has happened. All they will do is a simple cell search – but they are not going to find anything. He is making a mockery of what he did. He has committed murder but just doesn’t care. He needs all his social media to be shut down and blocked,’ she added.
Max and Mason were stabbed to death with machetes yards from Mason’s front door in a case of mistaken identity.
The pair had been heading out to get pizza when they were attacked by youths armed with some of the ‘most horrific’ weapons local police had seen.
Their murder trial heard the boys had been innocently caught up in a long-standing rivalry between Knowle West and Hartcliffe, both districts of Bristol, and there had previously been incidents involving people from ‘both postcodes’.
Two machetes, 20 inches and 19 inches, were shown to Bristol Crown Court where the four young killers and adult Anthony Snook, 45, were jailed.
One, just 16, had stabbed a teenager with a 10-inch Rambo knife outside a Bristol retail park the day before he took part in the murders of Max and Mason.
During the murder trial the teenage killers were seen sharing a joke and fist bumping each other in the dock and since being behind bars one of the gang has even boasted on social media about the fatal stabbings.
