Adult star reveals terminally sick fan has spent jaw-dropping quantity on her specific content material

Adult content creator Skylar Mae has formed an unusual online bond with a terminally ill man, spending up to five hours daily providing spicy companionship and digital intimacy

You can do charity in many different types of ways… Adult content star Skylar Mae has found herself at the heart of an extraordinary, and somehow eyebrow-raising, online relationship.

Spending up to five hours a day chatting with a terminally ill subscriber, the bombshell has received a staggering $102,000 (£75,400) for providing spicy companionship. The devoted fan, confined to his hospital bed, has turned to Skylar for a dose of digital affection his own family rarely provides.

Skylar has been spending up to five hours a day talking to the subscriber, who was told he only has a few months left to live.

The model has consequently developed a close relationship with the gentleman. While Skylar explained that she does feel guilt for the amount he has spent on her, she is happy to be there for him during such a tough time.

“This man has been subscribed for two and a half months and has spent $102,000 (£75,400),” Skylar revealed. “He reached out to me through my [adult content platform] account, after finding me on Instagram.”

She continued: “When I asked him about himself, he told me, ‘Okay, this is my story: I am literally living in a hospital’. He has told me about all his health issues and sends me daily updates from his hospital bed.

“I do feel guilty about how much he’s spending on me, but I always tell him it’s not necessary. He wants to spend his money on me though.

“I’ve been helping him every day to help him get through the days of being alone in the hospital, because he doesn’t have anyone checking on him. He likes to joke with me, enjoys seeing photos of my dogs and he likes one-on-one messaging where I give him my full, dedicated time.”

Skylar concluded: “I do know he has a family. He doesn’t have a wife, but I know he has kids.

“However, none of them see him often. They’ll come and visit here and there, but it’s not weekly; it’s every blue moon that they’ll come and say hi.”

A recent study on patients with advanced, incurable cancer and their partners found that sexual activity levels remained relatively stable towards the end of life. Despite some remaining active, 75% of patients with advanced cancer reported low sexual satisfaction.

Moreover, it was found that a greater decline in physical functioning is directly associated with poorer outcomes in all aspects of sexual health. Additionally, sexual desire showed a significant decrease as the end of life approached, even when other markers of sexual health remained stable.

Nevertheless, intimacy and sexual health are not commonly discussed with palliative care professionals in the UK, despite patients and partners expressing a desire for these services to alleviate stress and improve quality of life, according to the Marie Curie organisation. Furthermore, patients in hospice or hospital environments cite lack of privacy, frequent interruptions from carers, and restrictive medical equipment, such as syringe drivers or colostomy bags, as major inhibitors to sexual expression.

However, there has reportedly been a 23% increase in STI diagnoses among adults aged 65+ in recent years. As a result, healthcare providers are increasingly warned not to assume terminal or elderly patients are sexually inactive.

Nonetheless, the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill highlights that disabled and terminally ill people are twice as likely as non-disabled people to be victims of domestic abuse, which can include sexual and coercive control.
