Leaked grownup tape sees glam official and high married political advisor stop

Mirjana Pajković said her life has been targeted for destruction ‘on all grounds’ as an alleged sex tape has sparked blackmail claims and criminal complaints in the Balkan nation

Two senior government officials have quit their posts following the emergence of an alleged explicit tape. The lewd footage, reportedly featuring a married presidential adviser with a junior colleague, has led to both political figures stepping down in shame.

Mirjana Pajković, who served as director general for the promotion and protection of human rights at the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, in Montenegro, confirmed she would be leaving her position on Friday (January 29), according to Montenegrin publication Pobjeda.

The purported intimate video shows Pajković in a sexual encounter with former national security agency chief Dejan Vukšić – who is married with two children – and ex-adviser to President Jakov Milatović.

Pajković released a public statement declaring: “When I myself was exposed to the extreme violence that I posted on social networks, where the first person next to the president of the country, the first former person of the National Security Agency, very persistently and at length during the entire conversation told me that there would be no place for me and no life in Montenegro.”

She alleges that President Milatović refused to intervene in the controversy, reports the Express US. She went on to say: “That my boss would see something that compromised me, where he clearly and directly threatened me that he had compromising material for me, why did I keep quiet at that moment?

“He told me this personally after I refused to act the way he asked me.” Pajković stated her resignation was due to personal reasons, but she didn’t hold back in accusing Vukšić of using the tape to intimidate her into silence.

Pajković clarified that she was unaware of the incriminating footage Vukšić allegedly used to blackmail her. However, she voiced concerns about potential harm from him given his influential role in the security sector.

She wrote: “For example, when someone is blackmailing you. Someone more powerful will ask you for a favour, some behaviour that you do not want at that moment, and if you refuse to do it, you will be handed over to someone who is the embodiment of the highest state authority.

“No one will physically hit you, this is the 21st century, but they very clearly want to destroy your life on all grounds.” Pajković lodged a criminal complaint concerning the unauthorised distribution of explicit material, which included a photograph of her.

The dispute between Pajković and Vukšić continues, with both parties lodging criminal complaints against each other. The Serbian Times reports a threat originating from a landline within the president’s office.

After Pajković reported the explicit content to the police, Vukšić stepped down in late December, citing “personal reasons” for his departure. Vukšić declared: “I reject all inaccurate, incomplete, and tendentious allegations by which, without evidence, responsibility is being attributed to me for the violation of [Pajković’s] privacy and the distribution of the disputed recordings.

“I saw that content for the first time only when it began to circulate illegally on social networks.” Vukšić has accused Pajković of breaching his privacy.

This accusation arises from Vukšić’s claim that Pajković “misappropriated” the phone used to record a threat he made against her during a landline call from Milatović’s office. “The words I addressed to [Pajković] on that occasion, which were selectively published with a time delay of one year and three months, were an immediate reaction to the theft and abuse of my phone,” he explained.

In March, Vukšić alleged he received a blackmail call demanding he withdraw a judge’s candidacy for the constitutional court to prevent the release of audio recordings. He implicated Pajković as part of the group behind the call.

After Vukšić lodged a police complaint against Pajković for alleged attempted extortion, theft, and misuse of a phone, authorities questioned Pajković.
