A lucky horse racing fan pocketed a staggering £51,058.89 from just a £1 stake by picking 11 winners over three incredible hours.
The armchair expert battered the bookies by landing a sensational 51,057-1 accumulator in races at Ayr and Lingfield. The betting Nostradamus managed to pick all seven winners at Ayr, starting with Apples Jade.
At Lingfield one horse was declared a non-runner, but the rest all romped home to glory with Diamond Geezer, Space Invasion, Poke The Bear and Royal Jet all winning against the odds as the shrewd punter celebrated pocketing an eye-watering sum.

The final leg came when The Sketcher powered home by five-and-a-half lengths leaving the punter – who wished to remain anonymous – laughing all the way to the bank.
