Bremervorde nightclub mass pepper spray assault leaves revellers gasping for air
Several people have been rushed to hospital after a pepper spray attack at a nightclub in Bremervorde, with revellers left fighting for breath – an investigation has now been launched

Multiple revellers have been rushed to hospital following a large-scale pepper spray assault in a nightclub, leaving people gasping for air. Party-goers at the German club Bremervorde were evacuated at around 1am last night amid reports a chemical had been randomly sprayed on the dancefloor.
A police spokesperson confirmed several people suffered apart injuries and were “complaining of breathing difficulties and irritation of the eyes and respiratory tract”.
A total of 38 people were reported injured with eight raced to hospital. Police are now investigating the cause as a case of aggravated assault and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
