All we all know as Epstein scandal grows – ‘incest’ joke to UK police investigation

As the fallout rumbles on after the latest Epstein files were released, the spotlight has been thrust on the Lords and former Royals in the UK whose connection to the dead paedo has cost them a lot

The spotlight has been thrust on members of high society after the latest release of millions of files relating to billionaire paedo Jeffrey Epstein. The latest Epstein Files include thousands of references to the names such as Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and Bill Gates.

They also include documents that suggest former Labour minister Lord Peter Mandelson leaked sensitive information to the convicted sex offender, prompting a police probe.

And the former Duke and Duchess of York, the ex-Prince Andrew and his wife Sarah Ferguson, also feature heavily, including the revelations that Fergie took their kids to meet the disgraced financier just days after his release from jail after his child sex conviction.

Lord Mandelson’s sick ‘incest’ joke

In one sickening conversation, Lord Mandelson appears to joke about marrying Princess Beatrice, to which Epstein replied suggesting it would be “incest”.

Epstein suggested in an email that Lord Mandelson “marry Princess Beatrice”, adding “the Queen would have a queen as a grandson”.

Lord Mandelson, then an MP, seems to reply: “Remember, I am already her Lord President,” to which Epstein fires back: “Does that make it incest, how exciting.”

Met Police swamped by reports of alleged misconduct

Mandelson, sacked as US ambassador and now booted out of the Labour Party, faces calls to be removed from the House of Lords. And on Monday night, the Met Police confirmed it reviewing reports of alleged misconduct in a public office.

The force said it had received a number of reports after Mandy was accused of passing on sensitive government information to Epstein when he was business secretary under Gordon Brown in 2009.

Metropolitan Police commander Ella Marriott said: “The Met has received a number of reports relating to alleged misconduct in a public office. The reports will all be reviewed to determine if they meet the criminal threshold for investigation.”

Mandy’s other leaks

Other emails in the tranche of documents appear to suggest Mandelson advised Epstein in 2009 that the boss of the JP Morgan bank should “mildly threaten” the UK chancellor over a planned tax on bankers’ bonuses

He also gave advance notice to Epstein of a €500bn bailout from the EU to save the Euro and the tycoon made $75,000 (£55,000) in payments to Mandelson in three separate $25,000 transactions in 2003 and 2004, the documents show.

Epstein sent £10,000 to Lord Mandelson’s partner Reinaldo Avila da Silva in 2009, the emails show. The SNP’s Westminster leader Stephen Flynn said the revelations were “shocking” and must be fully investigated by the government and all appropriate authorities.

Fergie ‘took kids to see Epstein’ days after release

Sarah Ferguson visited Jeffrey Epstein just days after he was released from jail for child sex crimes – and took her two young daughters with her.

The former Duchess of York is said to have taken Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie to see the paedophile in July 2009, less than a week after he was freed from prison after being banned up for 12 months for soliciting a child for prostitution.

The shocking visit emerged in the recently released trove of documents relating to the disgraced financier, who said in an email sent to his then-girlfriend and sex trafficking accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell: “Ferg and the two girls come [sic] yesterday.”

Jeffrey Epstein ‘had baby boy’

Other messages between Fergie and Epstein suggest the sex pest may have had a “baby boy” following his release from jail. Fergie congratulated Epstein on the birth of a baby boy, according to the emails released by Department of Justice in the US.

In the messages, Sarah says she heard the news from her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. If it were true, it would make Epstein’s secret son 14 years old.

The newly released message, from an email address called ‘Sarah’, said: “Don’t know if you’re still on this on this bbm [BlackBerry Messenger] but have heard from the Duke that you have had a baby boy.”

Fergie’s charity closes down

Sarah Ferguson’s charity, Sarah’s Trust, has announced it will close “for the foreseeable future” just days after the new revelations emerged about her ties to Epstein.

A spokesman for Sarah’s Trust said: “Our chair Sarah Ferguson and the board of trustees have agreed that with regret the charity will shortly close for the foreseeable future. This has been under discussion and in train for some months.

“We remain extremely proud of the work of the trust over recent years. We have partnered with over 60 other charities in over 20 countries, providing education, healthcare, crisis response and environmental projects.”
