10 high-profile free brokers Premier League golf equipment can nonetheless signal – from Sterling to Origi

The January transfer window has now shut for all Premier League and EFL clubs. But numerous quality free agents remain without a club following the deadline.
A relatively subdued window is now behind us after deadline day, with the Premier League splashing out a combined total of just over £400million. Few marquee names switched clubs last month, with Antoine Semenyo’s £65m move from Bournemouth to Manchester City arguably being the most significant transfer.
Deadline day itself proved equally underwhelming, with Jorgen Strand Larsen’s switch from Wolves to Crystal Palace for a club-record £48m representing the day’s biggest financial outlay.
Liverpool also wrapped up a deal in principle for Rennes prospect Jeremy Jacquet worth £60m, though that transfer will be completed in the summer.
Several clubs may still need to plug gaps after failing to land certain targets. And those sides remain able to do business with free agents to make emergency signings that could turn around their season.
Here, the Daily Star Sport looks at 10 high-profile and Premier League experienced free agents, who remain on the market and could prove an interesting signing for top-flight or Championship clubs.
