Epstein and Mandelson’s ‘sick’ joke about occasion with strippers ‘Grace and Modesty’

Disgraced Peter Mandelson celebrated Jeffrey Epstein’s release from jail as ‘Liberation Day’ and branded the paedophile a ‘naughty boy’, the documents show. He told him he was ‘free’

Peter Mandelson joked with Jeffery Epstein about celebrating his release from prison with “two strippers”, fresh files show.

He celebrated the child sex offender’s release from jail as “Liberation day” and exchanged sleazy jokes with him. Mandy branded the paedo a “naughty boy” after the disgraced financier told him freedom felt “fresh, firm and creamy”.

The email was sent the day Epstein left jail after serving 13 months for soliciting a minor. On July 22, 2009, Epstein told Mandy he was “free and home”, to which the then-business secretary responded: “How shall we celebrate?”

Epstein replied that it would be, “with grace and modesty (those are the names of two strippers)”.

Mandy responded: “From now on, grace and modesty sd [should] be discovered in London.”

He also appears to reference Epstein’s interest in young women, joking that “when we say ‘wife’, we don’t mean 20 years old and Russian”.

The latest document dump by US authorities from the so-called Epstein files has piled further pressure on Lord Mandelson. He is facing a criminal investigation and has quit the House of Lords.

The crude messages have prompted disgust from figures across the political spectrum.

SNP Westminster leader Stephen Flynn wrote on X “sick b*******” and Tory shadow minister Alex Burghart told MPs he was “shocked and disturbed”.

The emails can be traced to Mandy because his BT Internet email address was left unredacted in one of the messages, and his name is in another.

A snivelling Mandy has defended the exchange, saying: “They are his [Epstein’s] observations not mine. I am saying he should find grace and modesty not strippers.”

Speaking in Parliament earlier today (February 4), PM Sir Keir Starmer said Mandelson “betrayed our country” by leaking to Epstein and had “lied repeatedly” during the appointment process to the US ambassador job. Papers on Mandelson’s appointment as ambassador to the US will be released after the former minister’s dealings with the paedophile financier led to a criminal probe and his departure from the House of Lords.
