Liverpool vs Man City could possibly be down 11 gamers for crunch Premier League conflict

Liverpool host Manchester City in a huge Premier League showdown on Sunday with both teams facing major injury concerns

Liverpool are set to face Manchester City on Sunday afternoon, but the Reds are still uncertain about who will be available for the match against the team currently sitting second in the Premier League.

The main concern is over the fitness of Joe Gomez. The defender has been absent from the last two games after injuring his hip in a collision with Reds goalkeeper Alisson Becker during the 3-2 loss at Bournemouth, and Arne Slot is hopeful that Gomez could return to provide an option at right-back.

This is because both Jeremie Frimpong and Conor Bradley are still out of action. Bradley is ruled out for the season following knee surgery, while Frimpong is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks due to a groin problem that kept him from playing against Newcastle United at the weekend.

City, meanwhile, are grappling with considerable injury worries of their own.
