Drunk ladies shoved man onto practice tracks earlier than smashing girlfriend’s enamel

Morgan Cox and Ellouise Parker had tried to scrounge a sip of people’s drinks before a row broke out on the train platform – resulting in a man being chucked onto the tracks

Two drunk women pushed a man onto the train tracks after they drank all his girlfriend’s drink, after asking for a sip. His partner was also set upon with her teeth being broken in the bust-up.

The incident took place at Birmingham New Street station at the peak time for trains to be coming and going through. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported after the man was able to get back onto the platform without being hurt.

Following the case going to court, the two women responsible for the fight on the train platform have avoided prison. However, if they are caught doing anything similar in the future they will be sent to jail.

In the incident, which took place on April 11, 2025, Morgan Cox and Ellouise Parker, had been standing on the platform after a night out. The 23-year-olds soon approached a couple who were also waiting on the platform and asked them for a sip of the drink the woman was holding.

But instead of having a sip, the girls went on to drink the entire beverage, which soon resulted in a row between the three girls. Trying to calm things down, the couple tried to move away, but the drunk pair continued to agitate the pair and went on to attack them.

Prosecutor Owen Beale told Birmingham Magistrates’ Court that the incident took place at around 9:30pm on a Friday evening. The couple had been waiting for their train when the women approached them, having “been drinking heavily”.

After drinking the entire beverage, the pair got into an argument with the girls before trying to get away. However, Beale told the court: “The defendants ran up behind and attacked (the woman) by the escalator.

“The two of them punched and kicked her,” he continued, “she had a bloodied nose and broken teeth. They then turned their attention to her partner; he was pushed off the platform on to the railway which was live.”

Thankfully, the man was able to get off the tracks and get his way back onto the platform without being seriously injured. But after getting back to safety, the girls continued the brutal attack before staff at the station stepped in.

After being set on by the girls, the man had been left with a large gash to his head, a cut to his lower back and multiple bruises. In his victim impact statement, he said he could have died in the attack, which has now left him “scared to go near the platform”.

The woman also said she was personally affected by the attack, saying she “can no longer smile” after having her teeth smashed. “I now cover my mouth when I speak out of shame and embarrassment; other people notice,” the woman said.

Cox and Parker both admitted two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH). Presiding over the case, District Judge Michelle Smith said the attack was one of the most serious crimes that the court could cover, ultimately decided to spare them a jail term.

“This is one of the most serious ABHs this court will have seen and will be able to deal with,” Judge Smith said. “It was a group attack which was sustained and unprovoked at a train station, causing significant injuries and long-lasting impact on your victims.”

Cox and Parker were both sentenced to 12 months suspended for 18 months including 25 days of rehabilitation activity and a drug testing requirement. They were both ordered to pay £100 compensation to each victim — £400 in total between them, as well as having regular meetings with the probation service.
