Bad Bunny palms Grammy to younger boy at Super Bowl halftime… and followers are satisfied it was a dig at ICE

Bad Bunny fans believe the artist has given one of his Grammys to Liam Conejo Ramos, the five-year-old boy who was detained by ICE agents earlier this year.

During a brief tender moment during the Super Bowl halftime show, the Puerto Rican rapper placed his hand on a young boy’s head and handed him a trophy.

Eagle-eyed fans have said they are convinced the child is Conejo Ramos, and that the move was a subtle dig at Donald Trump‘s aggressive deportation policies, though this has not been confirmed.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials detained the youngster along with his father Adrian Conejo Ramos in Minneapolis on January 20.

The duo were initially held at an ICE facility in Texas, but they were released this week after a judge ordered they be returned to Minnesota

Images of Conejo Ramos and his father being taken away by agents pulled on the heartstrings of Americans, and many demanded their release.

Fans believe that Bad Bunny, 31, who said ‘ICE Out’ during his Grammy acceptance speech last weekend, has made a second political statement against the agency.

‘Wait hold up… Did Bad Bunny just give his Grammy to Liam Conejo Ramos the poor kid who was kidnapped by ICE?’ one viewer wrote on X. ‘If so, amazing.’

‘I’m gonna assume the little boy given the Grammy was Liam Conejo Ramos. If he is, Bad Bunny just became a hero for me,’ another X user wrote.

A third person called the moment ‘beautiful’ while another called it ‘adorable’.

Others also pointed out that a sign reading ‘Conejo’ was visible during Bad Bunny’s performance moments before the child came into view.

However, other fans believe the child was intended to represent the rapper’s younger self, as he was dressed in similar clothing to Bad Bunny in his youth.

The musician’s halftime also delighted viewers with surprise appearances from Lady Gaga and Pedro Pascal.

They performed at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, where the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots faced off in the NFL championship final.
