The latest batch of Epstein Files exposed the sordid billionaire’s ties to the wealthy and powerful, leaving some embarrassed and others resigning in shame – here are the seven biggest bombshells you might have missed.
The Department of Justice announced little over a week ago it had mad millions of Jeffrey Epstein documents public. Uncomfortable details and photos have since emerged, including Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg having a dinner with Epstein as well as connections between the billionaire and members of the Donald Trump administration.
The UK, and Europe, have not been spared either. Epstein pal Peter Mandelson resigned from the House of Lords and questions over investigations remain after it emerged he leaked information to the convicted sex offender.

Musk and Zuckerberg ‘wild’ dinner
A photo of Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg was emailed by Epstein to himself after he bragged of a “wild” dinner with the tech billionaire duo. In the snap, both Musk and Zuckerberg could be seen sitting alongside several other people.
Epstein messaged the photo to himself on Monday, August 3, 2015, one day after he bragged about meeting the tech chiefs for a swanky California dinner.
“Where are you?” Epstein asked author Peter Attia on August 2, 2015. “I might be in LA Monday, burbank to look at the interior of the other bbj, tonite dinner with Musk, [Palantir boss Peter] Thiel, Zuckerburg.” Attia later responded: “Sounds like an awesome dinner.”
In another email sent to US businessman Tom Pritzker on August 20 that year, Epstein confirmed in an August 20, 2015, email the dinner went ahead. He said: “I had dinner with Zuckerberg, Musk, Thiel, Hoffman. Wild”
Peter Mandelson’s pally Epstein messages
Explosive Epstein Files emails have stripped New Labour architect Peter Mandelson of his place in the House of the Lords and led police to carry out an investigation into the ex-UK ambassador to the US.
His downfall was sparked after emails allegedly revealed Mandelson leaked internal Government information to Epstein while he was Business Secretary under Gordon Brown. The details include an EU bailout in the wake of the 2008 financial crash.
Such confidential information could have helped bankers make millions. Epstein, who served a jail term after admitting to child sex offences in 2008, also offer financial advice to Mandelson. In June 2011 he wrote: “If I want to buy this house, which I do, I’ll have to borrow 4m from bank at 3pc (per cent) interest. Do you think that’s all right?”
Epstein responded, saying he was keen to find a deal for him.
Andrew’s New York getaway
The disgraced former Duke of York once claimed he travelled to New York in December 2010 in order to end his friendship with Epstein. He claimed it had been the “right thing to do” and a simple phone call would have been the “chicken’s way of doing it”.
Andrew had denied being the “guest of honour” at a party celebrating Epstein’s release, instead telling journalist Emily Maitlis that there was only a “small dinner party”. But newly released emails in the latest Epstein Files suggest Andrew stayed at the sex offender’s mansion for nine days, during which “girls came after school”, could refer to university or college students.
Andrew previously claimed he saw Epstein three times during his stay. It emerged Epstein and his assistant also arranged for two people to “give the Duke a facial tomorrow at one.”
He also emailed another businessman bragging that Andrew was staying and asking if he wanted to get breakfast with them. He has consistently denied all allegations against him.
Norway royal breaks silence over Epstein ties
The Crown Princess of Norway issued a lengthy apology for her friendship with the convicted sex offender. Princess Mette-Marit, who is married to Norway’s heir to the throne, was implicated in the latest Epstein Files release.
The messages sent between the princess and Epstein implied years of friendship. The Norwegian Royal Family said in a statement: “I would like to express my deepest regret for my friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. It is important for me to apologise to all of you that I have disappointed.
“Some of the content of the messages between Epstein and me does not represent the person I want to be. I also apologise for the situation that I have put the Royal Family in, especially the King and Queen.”
Epstein’s Buckingham Palace visit with Russian model
Shamed Andrew invited Epstein and an “enchanting” Russian model to Buckingham Palace, bombshell emails revealed. The former Duke of York exchanged friendly messages with the convicted child sex offender, mentioning that Buckingham Palace could serve as the perfect spot for dinner – noting its “privacy.”
“I am just departing Scotland should be down by 1800 (6pm),” Andrew said in the September 27, 2010, email to Epstein. “I’ll ring you when I get down if you can give me a number to ring. Alternatively, we could have dinner at Buckingham Palace and lots of privacy.”
Epstein responded: “Already in London, what time would you like me and [redacted]? We will also need/ have private time.” The billionaire’s guest was described as “enchanting” and a “great friend,” reports The Sun.
The messages were sent two months before Andrew jetted off to New York.
Fresh humiliation for Andrew and Fergie
The new photo of Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson showed the pair appearing chummy with one another. The snap showed the duo as they smiled for the camera while they were joined by another man.
The former Duke and Duchess of York hovered over a cake with candles while surrounded by leaflets and documents related to the Star Fund organisation. It is unclear when the photo was taken, or what occasion was being celebrated. It also remains unclear who took the photograph of the pair and the man who accompanied them at the time.
The image is the latest revelation concerning Andrew and Fergie to emerge from the latest Epstein Files dump. Both have seen their reputations reduced to tatters as more documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein emerge.
Fergie’s proposition to Epstein
Newly released emails between Fergie and the convicted sex offender appear largely desperate, with repeated requests for money, a joke marriage proposal, and fawning words that showcase the disturbing nature of their friendship.
In one email sent six months after Epstein was released from prison, Fergie praised him, adding: “You are a legend. I really don’t have the words to describe, my love, gratitude for your generosity and kindness. Xx I am at your service. Just marry me.”
Fergie has yet to speak out on the emails released in the latest dump, but her spokesperson said last year: “The duchess spoke of her regret about her association with Epstein many years ago, and as they have always been, her first thoughts are with his victims. Like many people, she was taken in by his lies.”
They also asserted: “As soon as she was aware of the extent of the allegations against him, she not only cut off contact but condemned him publicly, to the extent that he then threatened to sue her for defamation for associating him with paedophilia.”
