Man suffers grotesque accidents after being headbutted and booted in bum by psycho kangaroo

A retired farmhand says he is “lucky to be alive” after being savagely attacked by a psycho Kangaroo – and then whacked with a shovel by his mate who fought the beast off.
The man, named only as Col, was left bloodied and battered after the mighty marsupial headbutted him, kicked him and clawed at him in a frightening ordeal in Victoria, Australia. He was rushed to hospital and spent six hours getting stitched up.
Col said after the horror attack: “My mate rang me in hospital and said I want to apologise. I said what do you want to apologise for, you saved me. He said I accidentally hit you with a shovel. Do I owe him a beer or does he owe me a beer?”
He got into trouble as he tried to save his dog from an attack from a Kangaroo, who was standing up on his back tail, trying to grab at Col and his pal.
Col said: “I got a stick and I hit him with a stick and he jumped into the dam and I flicked the dog to my mate and said put her in the dog cage.
“When I turned around to see if the dog was in the cage, I looked back at the kangaroo and he’s just come out water like a bloody rocket and headbutted me in the face really and punched the crap out of me.”
Col said he stood up to run away but the Kangaroo ran after him and gave him a “flying roundhouse” kick to the back.
He told Melbourne radio station 3aw: “And then he’s jumped on me and his little gremlin hands have grabbed my head and he wouldn’t let go and he’s just started booting the sh*t out of me. He wouldn’t get off and he was growling the whole time.
“I was trying to pull his hands off my head but he was really well latched on and then my mate got a shovel and hit him with a shovel. I can’t remember too much, it was really quick, a lot of injuries for probably 25 seconds of work.”
Col shared gruesome photos of his horror injuries, which showed deep claw marks all over his body and a huge gash to his head. He told the station: “I am very lucky, if i hadn’t rolled on to my stomach I’d have been in a lot worse way. The scratching I can take.
“But I’ve got three that really hurt. They’ve got a big talon toe and he’s got me through both sides of stomach, an ultrasound said it went in about three inches. He embarrassingly kicked me in the arse and I’ve got got a big hole in the arse cheek.”
He says his injuries would have been even worse but for his new Pilbara shirt, which was ruined in the attack. He said:”If i didn’t have that shirt on, i’d have about 20 more stitches.
“I had a look at the shirt and his feet have obviously got a bit tangled up in it. So I’ve got a bit of a trophy there as well.”
