Why neighbours are VERY sad with P.Louise and her ‘new-money’ mansion: Fresh controversy revealed in our new INFLUENCERS UNFILTERED column

We all want our undisturbed beauty sleep, but for P. Louise, it seems an eye mask and a blackout blind won’t cut it.

I hear that the millionaire make-up guru, real name Paige Williams, is building herself a fortress in the North West – a sprawling high-security mansion so secure its systems can automatically lock her within her own bedroom.

The 33-year-old beauty boss, whose make-up company P. Louise generated a whopping £71million in turnover last year, is reportedly constructing a multi million pound Cheshire mega-home, complete with what insiders are calling a ‘bunker-style’ panic room.

At night, the house effectively shuts down at the touch of a button. When Paige goes to bed, the entire downstairs can be secured: the lift stops working, shutters descend and access to the upper floors becomes virtually impossible.

The house sits within Cheshire’s ‘Golden Triangle’ – teeming with millionaires including footballers from Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool, as well as influencers such as Molly-Mae Hague and various stars of the Real Housewives of Cheshire. So, Paige’s high-level security isn’t totally out of place.

However, sources tell me that construction is already raising eyebrows among neighbours.

One told me: ‘Everything about the build is extravagant beyond taste. The neighbours are seriously not happy about the new-money queen moving in and turning the place into Fort Knox.’

But it’s perhaps unsurprising that Paige wants her new home to be as impenetrable as possible.

Back in 2020, she was left traumatised after being held at knifepoint by masked burglars at her home in Stalybridge, Manchester. The attack was so severe that she later admitted she was too frightened to return to the property.

At the time, she revealed that her nine-year-old brother had been ‘slung into another room’ while weapons were held to her head. Police later confirmed the gang escaped with a ‘significant quantity of cash’ and several Rolex watches, leaving the house badly damaged.

The ordeal played out in real time on social media. In a series of panicked Instagram posts, Paige told her followers: ‘Just to give you a heads up, I’ve just been held up at knifepoint in my house.

‘This is what happens when you make money. All you need to know is three boys have just come through my house, balaclavas on. They are probably watching this as they definitely know who I am.’

She later moved out of the property altogether, adding cryptically: ‘Someone close to me has set this up.’

Fast-forward five years and it’s clear the experience has rattled Paige for life.

The make-up mogul is now worth more than £100million – so she could be forgiven for thinking she’s even more of a target for thieves now.

Which is why Paige has designed her new home with safety as the No 1 priority. Let’s just hope her disgruntled neighbours don’t try to sabotage her plans.

Identity crisis: Even influencers aren’t safe from AI

Influencer and model Amechi Madu, 22, has found himself in the middle of a very 2026 nightmare. His content has been copied – not by a rival creator, but by an AI ‘influencer’ – a computer-generated persona designed to act as a social media influencer.

‘I made a video about getting a more defined face, and suddenly there’s this AI account that’s stolen my voice, my facial expressions and even my bloody bedroom,’ Amechi told me.

The video uses the original audio from Amechi’s video, as well as the original background, but uses a human-like avatar to recreate his movements. To add insult to injury, the account has reportedly blocked him, leaving Amechi unable to report the offending video.

‘I feel cheated. How the hell is this even a real thing?’ Amechi says, calling for social media platforms to step up their protections. ‘At the moment, there’s no one I can go to directly to stop this happening again.’

Time for Big Tech to start flagging when a video is AI, rather than a talented individual like Amechi.

Influencer chef’s mental health struggle

Foodie influencer Nathan Smith, best known to his followers as @TheGrubworksKitchen, has spoken out about his harrowing experience in hospital following two suicide attempts in January.

The influencer, who has built a loyal following of half a million by sharing his impressive home-cooked meals, claims his five-day hospital stay left him feeling ridiculed and dismissed.

‘The treatment I’ve received has been nothing short of a failure,’ he said. He alleges that a ‘qualified’ mental health nurse even asked whether he’d ‘learnt’ his lesson after the ordeal.

For a creator loved for serving up comfort on a plate, it’s a sobering reminder that when it comes to mental health, you can never really know what your favourite Instagram star is going through.

The real Love Island: All Stars is happening on livestream… to ITV’s frustration

Ex-Love Islander Tyrique Hyde has been busy riling up ITV bosses. The influencer hosts nightly livestreams, giving his opinion on the Love Island: All Stars – a version of the ITV2 reality show featuring former contestants.

While ITV struggled to get sign-ups for the new season, Tyrique has been joined by a plethora of ex-Islanders like Amber Gill, Ovie Soko and Yasmin Pettet who have watched along and dissected the show with him.

‘ITV are not happy with what’s going on, I have got the real All Stars on my platform and they can’t get them,’ he told viewers. ‘They called me, they called Amber and a couple of other people in the pipeline. But they’re not paying the right amount of money. We’re not going on there and getting paid the same as someone who had no impact.’

He’s got a point: who needs to fly all the way to South Africa when you can make a living by watching TV in your bedroom?

Amelia Dimoldenberg

Back on the up this week is British star Amelia Dimoldenberg after taking a few well-deserved months out of the spotlight. The host of the viral YouTube interview series Chicken Shop Date has been a hit in America after appearing in her first Super Bowl advert this year for Uber Eats.

Not only that, but she also featured on an episode of BBC One’s hit drama Industry, as well as directing the promo video for Gen Z singer Maisie Peters’ new album, Florescence. In March, we will see her back on the Oscars red carpet too, showing off the interview skills her fans have grown to love.

DOWN

Most ex-Love Islanders sign up to a season of All Stars in the hopes of gaining more followers, more fans and more brand deals. But it seems Lucinda Strafford’s appearance on the reality show this season has been a flop.

Not only has Lucinda been in the bottom three in public votes, but a string of explosive rows with her co-stars has seen her lose close to 2,000 Instagram followers.

Now she’s coupled up with salesman Sean Stone, but his family aren’t impressed. His sister said: ‘I don’t think she’s the right choice for Sean. As soon as someone else walks through the door, he is going to look extremely silly.’ Ouch.

Everyone’s been wondering why Miami influencer Alix Earle, 25, suddenly popped up during Bad Bunny’s controversial Super Bowl performance – dancing on stage alongside A-listers like rapper Cardi B, actor Pedro Pascal and actress Jessica Alba.

Her cameo sparked instant backlash, with fans branding her appearance ‘undeserved’, while others brought up her past ties to President Donald Trump. She was pictured in December 2023 with his daughter Ivanka.

I can reveal there was nothing random about her appearance. In fact, it was one big PR play.

Standing right beside her on stage was Dave Grutman, 51, an owner and partner of several Miami restaurants – including Gekko, the Japanese steakhouse he co-owns with Bad Bunny.

Here’s where it gets interesting. Alix isn’t just one of Miami’s biggest influencers – she’s also about to star in an ‘unscripted’ Netflix reality series about her life alongside family and friends. It’s being produced by Grutman’s company, GDGN Studios.

The pair have been linked for years. She’s even spoken at one of his Florida International University classes about entrepreneurship. Online gossip has long speculated there may have been more than business between them, too, after Alix once revealed on a podcast that she dated a 45-year-old when she was 20.

The app Invyted has been on my radar this week. Think Tinder, but for influencers looking for brands to work with.

Founded by foodie influencer Asti Wagner (@eatwithast), the platform lets content creators apply directly to work with brands, companies and businesses looking for promotion.

You’ll need at least 10,000 followers to get a profile on the app and must pass a vetting process by Wagner and her team.

Influencers and brands of all sizes are already using it worldwide. And I think it’s genius.
