CCTV images have been released following an incident in Gloucester where a restaurant bill exceeding £300 was left unpaid.

Five men enjoyed a three-course meal and drinks at a restaurant in Olympus Park, Gloucester, but scarpered before settling the hefty £329 bill, according to police.

The authorities are now investigating this ‘dine-and-dash’ incident and are appealing to the public.

Police have asked for assistance in identifying the men captured on CCTV.

Anyone who recognises the men in the images is urged to get in touch with the force, reports Gloucestershire Live.

Gloucestershire Police stated: “Officers have released CCTV images of a group of men they want to identify in connection with a report that people had left a restaurant without paying a bill totalling more than £300.

“It was reported that five men had gone to a restaurant at Olympus Park in Gloucester and each ordered a three-course meal and drinks, but walked out without paying their £329 bill.”

The police added: “Officers have conducted a number of enquiries since the incident, but are yet to identify the men pictured, and are now asking for information from the public.

“Anyone who recognises the men pictured is asked to complete the following online form quoting incident 237 of 31 December.”
