Michael van Gerwen is ‘again’ as he beats Luke Littler in Premier League Darts

Michael van Gerwen has beaten Luke Littler in night two of Premier League darts and fans have declared he’s back after the massive win

Michael van Gerwen looks to be back to his very best as he dumped Luke Littler out of night two of Premier League Darts.

Littler, 19, claimed his first win of the Premier League campaign on Thursday evening – beating his eternal rival Luke Humphries in a thriller in Antwerp. However, he would come unstuck in the semi-finals against a resurgent Might Mike.

Van Gerwen had a torrid 2025, but has hit the ground running since the turn of the year, winning the first night of the Premier League in Newcastle. And he has now claimed the sizeable scalp of Luke Littler.

Speaking on Sky Sports comms, Dan Dawson said: “Michael van Gerwen is in back-to-back finals to start this year’s Premier League. The Green Machine sees off The Nuke.

“Littler has just two points from the first two weeks but Van Gerwen could be walking off tonight with two weekly wins.”

Van Gerwen will now clash with either Johnny Clayton or Gerwyn Price in the final in Belgium. The two Welshmen had set up the clash after they beat Stephen Bunting and Gian van Veen respectfully.
