Moment fists fly in Scots McDonald’s as mass brawl breaks out round diners

Police were called to the Kingsway East restaurant on Longtown Road, Dundee after the fight erupted between teenagers on Saturday – a 13-year-old boy has since been arrested

A massive fight erupted between teenage yobs at a McDonald’s with the brawl caught on camera. Officers were summoned to the Kingsway East branch on Longtown Road, Dundee after reports came in at approximately 10.30pm on Saturday, February 7.

The shocking scenes were filmed as the hooligans laid into one another. The footage shows roughly a dozen school-aged teens screaming whilst fists flew between the youngsters.

An older gentleman wearing a high-vis vest can be seen attempting to separate the brawlers. Several of the kids are heard yelling “stop” before a chilling cry of “kill the f*****” rings out.

Stunned families tucking into their meals looked on in horror as the chaos erupted around them. The severity of any injuries sustained during the violence remains unknown, reports the Daily Record.

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested and charged with assault following the fracas. Police confirmed a report will be forwarded to the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration whilst investigations continue to determine the complete circumstances surrounding the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesman stated: “A 13-year-old boy has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault which happened at restaurant in Milton of Craigie, Dundee around 10.30pm on Saturday, February 7, 2025.

“A report will be submitted to the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration. Enquiries are ongoing.”

A spokesperson for McDonald’s expressed their shock at the incident, condemning the “completely unacceptable behaviour. Bosses said that they will continue to assist police with their enquiries.”

The company has pledged to continue supporting police investigations.

The representative stated: “We have a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to violence or abuse of any kind towards our employees and customers, and it is completely unacceptable to see anyone behaving in this way.

“This incident has been reported to the police and we will continue to assist them in their enquiries.”
