Sarah Ferguson ‘to go rogue from royals’ and ‘spill all Andrew Windsor’s soiled secrets and techniques’
Fergie, 66, has kept silent since she featured heavily in the latest trove of documents relating to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein which showed their cosy relationship carried on after he was jailed
Sarah Ferguson could be set to spill all of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s “dirty secrets” in a tell-all book, insiders allege. The disgraced former duchess is said to feel like she has “no choice” but to “go rogue from the Royals” and her ex-husband.
Fergie, 66, has kept silent since she featured heavily in the latest trove of documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein which showed their cosy relationship carried on for years after he was convicted of child sex offences.
But a source close to her said: “Sarah feels backed into a corner. In her mind, she has reached a point where staying silent only deepens the damage to her own name.”
The insider told Radar: “She believes she may have no alternative but to go rogue from the royals and lay bare Andrew Windsor’s dirty secrets in order to protect herself.”
Fergie, said to he holed up abroad after fleeing the UK to get away from the furore, was revealed to have made crude remarks about her daughter being on a “s***ging weekend”, among other bombshell emails.
She was also revealed to have offered Epstein and pals VIP tours of Buckingham Palace, boasting she could “organise anything”.
The source said Fergie questions whether she was “given the full picture” and if she placed “too much faith” in Andrew’s reassurances, adding she believes she acted out of trust and loyalty to her ex-husband in terms of her friendship with Epstein.
The insider added: “Now she feels she is bearing the consequences of choices that were not entirely hers. In her mind, she spent years shielding him from deeper fallout, and that protective stance has severely damaged her own credibility and standing.
“There’s a strong sense of resentment building. She feels she sacrificed her own reputation in an effort to preserve his – and that the personal cost of that decision has been far greater than she ever anticipated.”
Fergie is said to be under “real financial pressure” after having book deals and charitable roles pulled from her in the wake of the emails. And she is believed to be plotting an astonishing comeback to public life with a tell-all memoir.
The source added: “The sums being floated are substantial – far beyond a routine publishing advance. We’re talking about figures that would materially change her situation overnight. That level of interest inevitably sharpens the conversation.”
