Lily James flashed her tiny tattoo as she stunned in a black Stella McCartney gown for the Legends Gala at the Natural History Museum in London on Thursday.
The actress, 36, looked sensational as she slipped into a structured black gown which featured a daringly high slit.
As she posed in the backless dress for a snap shared to Instagram, Lily showcased her back tattoo, which is of the number nine.
It is unknown what the tattoo means or when she had it done, but pictures as far back as June 2025 show that the star has had it a while.
Lily completed her ensemble for the glitzy event as she slipped into a pair of towering black heels.
She accessorised her effortlessly elegant outfit with a pair of dangly diamond earrings and a diamond bracelet.

Lily had spent January globetrotting after spending December in Australia to work on a new project.
The Downton Abbey star had declared in December she’s ‘grateful and excited for the new year’ as she reflected on the good times to come for 2026.
Lily had previously been spotted growing close to her Swiped co-star Pierson Fode as they enjoyed a cosy stroll in New York together in September.

The Pam & Tommy star was last romantically linked to musician Michael Shuman in late 2023.
However, they split in February 2023 but were then seen together at Glastonbury later in the year.
The Suffolk native’s relationship with Michael was first revealed in February 2021, when they were spotted kissing outside a boutique hotel in England while she was filming What’s Love Got To Do With It.
A year later, they confirmed their relationship when they attended the Oscars together in Hollywood.
At the time, the musician had reportedly moved into the Mamma Mia star’s multi-million-dollar home in North London.
A month later, the two were pictured hand-in-hand while visiting Michael’s parents, former Disney production manager Ira Shuman and wife Janet, in Los Angeles.
Beforehand, James previously dated The Crown actor Matt Smith — whom she first met while filming Pride And Prejudice And Zombies — from 2014 through 2019.
During an interview with Collider while promoting her 2022 movie What’s Love Got To Do With It?, the actress briefly touched on the topic of romance.
‘Yeah, I think that we’re sort of encouraged by society to, you know, this lightning bolt moment where you’re gonna meet the man of your dreams, or woman of your dreams, or whoever of your dreams…
‘And it’s gonna be, that’s it, you’re settled, and you’re done for life.
‘Happily ever after, dot, dot, dot – and that’s just not the case.’
She applauded that the film ‘explores a kind of more gentle, ordinary — and I say that with such reverence, I think ordinary is just wonderful — a way of meeting someone that love can build out of, blossom out of friendship.
