The Lord created many vile creatures such as the tarantula, the Nazi and Stephen Yaxley-Lennon. But few can compare to the socialite (shorthand for sociopathic parasite), who a few decades back, styled themselves as “It Girls”. You remember them: inane, stick-thin, attention-seekers who flaunted their aristocratic connections at every society bash, and their bodies in every lad mag.
One of them, Lady Victoria Hervey, has crawled out of retirement and sparked fury by telling a radio station that in the circles she mixes it’s “an insult” not to be named in the Epstein Files. Indeed, being absent from them “makes you a loser”. Which came as no surprise considering the former S**t Girl once dated the Prince formerly known as Randy.
And to be fair, she has a point. Epstein went after a certain type of man: well-connected, ego-driven hedonists who were either very wealthy or had designs on being so. Men who didn’t care who they were damaging, whether it be vulnerable girls or their country’s security, so long as they were in Epstein’s sleazy orbit.
Hervey’s logic is that these types see themselves as global nobility, and to be excluded from Epstein Island was as damning as not being on the Davos guestlist. We’re talking about a billionaire-led elite, many of whom scalp corporate profits and avoid taxes, some of whose firms steal our personal information. They also rule our lives in their own interests.
Their genius lies in having mouthpieces who convince huge swathes of ordinary folk in countries like Britain that their incomes are stagnant and their public services decrepit because of welfare claimants and immigrants. That it’s the poor, sick and needy who are stealing from them, not the billionaire tax avoiders.
Men like Sir Jim Ratcliffe (who has no known connection with Epstein) who claims Britain is skint because of immigrants and welfare claimants but not billionaires like him emigrating to Monaco to live, a move which has deprived the UK Treasury of £4billion of taxes. The same sterling patriot who believes the hard-pressed British taxpayer should help fund the £2billion redevelopment of his Manchester United football stadium. Yet he would have you believe it’s the poorest among us who are the real leeches.
The deviousness of this billionaire elite is quite remarkable. They cultivate fellow elitists like Donald Trump (and soon they hope Nigel Farage) to trumpet the Big Lie to the masses about The Enemies Within while further slashing taxes and bending laws to their advantage. If a true history of civilisation is written before the world burns to a cinder, it will show that the root of all evil was very rich men who kept on wanting more and more. And didn’t give a toss who or what they destroyed because they were infected by a greed gene.
The richest of these humourless, classless, droids, Elon Musk, has announced plans to build a “self-growing city” on the Moon within the next decade. It would be the ultimate billionaire’s playground. With no tax, no laws, no workers’ rights, just slaves satisfying their masters’ every whim. Epstein Island on stilts. If Musk needs a motto for it, how about “Above Us Only Scum”.
