Thai masseuse compelled to cease taking male shoppers after barrage of intercourse requests

Mum-of-two Yosita Fitzpatrick, who is a qualified massage therapist, has been reporting those make sexual requests to the police as she defended her right to ‘heal’ people

A Thai masseuse has been forced to stop accepting male customers after she was bombarded with requests for sexual services. Yosita Fitzpatrick established Connemara Thai Massage in Letterfrack, a small rural village in Ireland, to heal locals.

The qualified massage therapist has been inundated with calls and messages enquiring about “happy endings” and has started reporting the communications to the Gardai (Irish police). Despite posting sexual messages to social media with a warning, Yosita continues to receive sexual requests “daily”.

Last week, she took the matter further by announcing she would no longer be taking on any new male clients. The mum-or-two said: “I am fully aware that, in the eyes of the world, the phrase ‘Thai women’ evokes unfair and negative stereotypes – portraying us merely as objects of desire.

“The truth is far richer. Thailand has so much to offer, and Thai women possess value that cannot be confined to narrow, outdated perceptions. No one has a right to harass me simply because I am a Thai woman or because I own a massage business.

“I am a therapist. I heal people. This is what I love. It is my purpose, and I do not want to walk away from it.”

She added: “I understand that it may feel unfair that I now accept female clients only. There are many respectful men who will lose the opportunity to receive treatment from me because of the actions of a few.

“I know it is not fair. But I can no longer accept what has been happening. Thank you, Garda, for supporting and helping me today. From this moment forward, any sexually harassing message will be forwarded directly to @gardainsta.

“I will not block you. If you choose to send inappropriate messages, the only response you will receive will come from the police. All I ask for is simple: respect.

“Do not send me messages of that nature. It is such a basic boundary —yet why is it so difficult to honor? I know I am not the only one who receives messages like this.”

It comes as a masseuse who tapped her client’s penis twice before offering him a “happy ending” has been fined. Sukanya W (not her real name) was fined £870 after being accused of sexually assaulting a 26-year-old software engineer.
