Bombshells you didn’t find out about Epstein together with what he did with ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter’

Jeffrey Epstein had some peculiar demands of his staff, who had to follow a strict daily regime to fulfil the paedophile’s every whim, including shoving hot water bottles under his covers at night

Jeffrey Epstein ordered muffins served with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter to be on the breakfast table by 7am and hot water bottles under his bed covers by 7pm, emails show.

The billionaire sex offender had a daily regime for staff running his Manhattan mansion, paradise island in the Caribbean and his desert ranch in New Mexico. He sent his orders in mandatory AM, midday and PM checklists, official US documents show.

And the precious paedophile had a specific recipe for his breakfast muffins, which he insisted lackies follow. Here, your Daily Star takes a look at some of the bizarre stuff unearthed from the disgraced financier’s documents.

Muffin manual

Epstein demanded breakfast be served by 7am for him and any guests he may have. The menu differed slightly if he had a guest. The checklist tells lackies to check flower arrangements at around 5am, before restocking the fridge and dry storage.

At 6am, they are instructed to prepare coffee and muffins and told the tray should have the following: knife, fork, coffee spoon, napkin, tall glass of chilled water, French Press Coffee (8 scoops of ground coffee), warmed coffee cup, a pitcher of cream and sweetener.

He insisted his special “J.E. Muffin” be warmed in the microwave for “about 25 seconds” and be presented with “I can’t believe its not butter” spray on the side. Staff were told to “Put out snacks and cookies by 7am”, the emails show.

Staff had to follow a special recipe for his muffins, which were filled with bran to keep him regular, and once he’d eaten them, he demanded he be served with seven grain toast and “usually eggs of some sort”.

If he had guests, staff were instructed to offer them water and beverages and have assorted fruits in bowls with serving utensils and bagels with assorted spreads.

Hot water bottle obsession

Other instructions for house staff include tucking hot water bottles under on the mattress his covers at precisely 7pm every evening.

Staff were told “there must always be a selection of reading glasses (prescription of 3.5)” beside each phone in each of his homes “with a large and small note pad, 3 pens and 3 pencils”. The manual adds: “Glasses should be checked daily for cleanliness.”

During dinner service, staff were also warned: “Remember when serving do not ever cross in front of anyone JE is having eye contact with. Always serve to the “outside” of the guest having JE’s interest.”

Beef jerky

Epstein entertained the mega rich and powerful at his homes, but he was also a huge fan of popular finger snack beef jerky, emails show. The word jerky appears 380 times in the Department of Justice files.

And chef Francis Derby, who was on Epstein’s payroll, wrote in one 2012 email: “We have gone through about 70 pounds of Steak for beef jerky in the last 2 weeks.”

Epstein moaned to Derby months later for not keeping up with his demand of the snack, writing: “I am concerned that after being off and then being back since Monday, that somehow i have no jerky again. I am very very annoyed.” Derby was in hospital at the time.

STDs and other sexual health issues

The predator was riddled with sexually transmitted diseases, the emails show. He tested positive for chlamydia in 2015 and for gonorrhea in 2016 and 2018.

He also had low testosterone levels for at least the last 15 years of his life and tested “extremely low” in the months before his 2019 death. Such low levels can cause decreased energy and libido in men.

Epstein, who reportedly engaged with multiple sex partners daily, had been discussing testosterone replacement treatment as an option.

Online dating

Epstein was known to procure girls and young women through escort services, modelling agencies and a global networks of people scouting for him. He also picked them up on the street himself. But he was only signed up to at least four online dating sites.

Emails show the world’s most notorious sexual predator was on Match – where he called himself ‘Sultan 175’ in his 2012 quest for what the site called a ‘special someone’ – and OKCupid, where he went by ‘gggeb,’ briefly in 2011.

He was also on Jdate – a Jewish dating site – posing as ‘Edward242E’ in 2013, and was also on EHarmony in 2009.

Epstein was required to register as a sex offender after his 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a minor. Most dating apps do not automatically check if people have criminal histories or are registered on sex offender registries when they sign up.
