Brooklyn Beckham might have erased his tattoo tribute to his father, but he’s still sporting the £220,000 timepiece David gifted him. The 26-year-old seems to have eliminated his cherished ‘Dad’ ink dedicated to David from his arm amid the family’s heartbreaking rift.
Yet despite the brutal rejection, the condiment connoisseur ensured his wrist caught attention as he ventured out in California with spouse Nicola for an extravagant date night on Sunday. As photographers captured him walking hand in hand with the heiress, he displayed the rose-gold Patek Philippe Nautilus reportedly valued at $300,000, which the former footballer presented to him for his 21st birthday.
The Peltz-Beckhams appeared smitten as always following their intimate meal, with Brooklyn proudly wearing what he’s described as his “favourite watch,” which he continues to don daily despite insisting he has no intention of ever making peace with his parents.
The luxury extended beyond his timepiece. For their bring-your-own-bottle evening, the duo came equipped with two treasured bottles of vintage Bordeaux – a 1992 Château Margaux priced at over £2,200 and a 1989 Château Latour worth approximately £800, transforming a simple date night into an exceptionally upmarket occasion, reports the Mirror.
Dressed in a crisp white shirt and black trousers, Brooklyn clasped his wife’s hand whilst Nicola donned her trademark low-rise jeans, crop top and sunglasses – despite the pair dining after dark.
This follows the couple dominating headlines last month when Brooklyn alleged his parents attempted to undermine his marriage. After declaring he has no intention of making amends with David and Victoria, he then seemingly had the anchor tattoo on his arm removed – the one bearing the word ‘Dad’ in the centre with ‘Love you Bust’ beneath it, a gesture that reportedly devastated David.
Whilst Brooklyn was enjoying the Californian lifestyle over the weekend, he was conspicuously absent from brother Cruz’s landmark 21st birthday celebrations in London just a day afterwards. Victoria, David and the remaining Beckham family members came together for a lively Beatles-inspired party to celebrate the aspiring musician’s special day and flourishing musical ambitions.
This follows Cruz seemingly extending an olive branch to Brooklyn by sharing a photograph of his three siblings beaming as youngsters.
Nevertheless, the trio remain disconnected on Instagram, with the feud showing little sign of resolution.
