Killer pay is a crime
Wayne Couzens is pure evil. The killer cop’s kidnap, rape and murder of Sarah Everard in 2021 shocked the world.
And he rightly received a whole life order for his awful crimes. As far as everyone is concerned, he should now just rot in jail for the rest of his pathetic existence.
So it’s terrible to hear that this utter scumbag is still in line for a £7,000-a-year pension funded by taxpayers. His Civil Nuclear Constabulary payout even includes a five-figure lump sum accessible from next year. What an absolute disgrace.
The Government’s lawyers are currently locked in a battle to strip him of the pension. Let’s hope they win.
Otherwise it’s another disgusting example of a criminal in this country enjoying way too many rights.

Same old Tory, Nige
Nigel Farage , it’s fair to say, has always been a pretty convincing salesman.
And right now, if the polls are to be believed, a lot of people are buying what he’s selling.
But it would be generous in the extreme to say Reform was a party that looks in any way ready for Government. Farage’s attempts to convince folk otherwise are falling pretty flat.
His first ever ‘shadow’ cabinet features all the names you would expect if you’ve been following his party closely in recent months. Nige says appointing the likes of Zia Yusuf, Robert Jenrick and Suella Braverman to top positions will stop everyone thinking Reform is a ‘one-man band’.
But frankly most people will think it’s just reheated Tory slop.
